I have a THF Silvanus(8F / 6C /6M)

My base is STR. I need Cha for Divine Might. Con for HP and saves. I dont need DEX(Cleric Domain STR add Str for reflex save). Wis for Jade Strike and saves.

my goal is DPS DPS DPS DPS DPS DPS... but i need PRR(not be squishy) + Dodge + Saves

I dont know best setting for my toon and I also do not know a post related to this.
I need your opinion/help for know the better end gears for my toon

At the moment I have this list:


Armor: Shadowscale Armor: (DB+ Fort 130 + Ghostly) + (Shadow Disciple)

Bracers: Slave bracers (Con 17/Devotion/Stunning 20/Q Con 4) Set bonus

Trinket: Slave trinket (Cha 17/Resistance 14/Tendon Slice 14/Q Char 4) Set bonus Slave

Glove: CC glove (Doublestrike 17, Hamp 61, Insightful STR 7)

Google: Visions of Precision (Wisdom +12, Enhanced Ki +3, Dazing X, Insightful Wisdom +4, Blue Augment Slot, Green Augment Slot)


Weapown: Drow Maul or TF Maul

1-Why not speed? Wind Stance of Monk already add 15% MA, just need aug~ striding 30%
2-Dont need Dex(Str Domain <3)
3-missing Improved Deception
4-I should use epic litany of dead, Outfit of the Celestial Guardian, ... ?

You're missing 11 Quality PRR from a Slave Lords extra slot.

You're missing 18 Insightful PRR from Cannith Crafting.

Possible PRR: 9 (3 Divine EPLs) + 46 (boots) + 11 (quality on Slave Lords crafted) + 18 (insightful on Cannith crafted) + 20 (shintao enhancements) + 10 (epic damage reduction feat) + 9 (henshin core 3) = 123 (55% damage reduction). There's another possible 27 PRR from EPLs and IPLs, 30 situational from Master's Blitz and a handful of points in reaper trees.  The challenge: AP is spread a bit thin with 36+ Kensei, 11 Ninja Spy (for Shadow Veil), 9 Shintao (20 PRR/20 healing amp), 11 henshin (9 PRR/30 melee power).  That means not enough AP for Harper KtA.

Why are you in Wind stance?  Either take Blinding Speed or figure out how to slot Melee Alacrity 15%.  You want to be in either Fire stance for the +STR (and thus +Reflex), +2 DC for Dire Charge/Stunning Blow and +1 crit multiplier on 19-20 or Water stance for massive increases to saves, dodge and max dodge at the cost of -2 STR.

why wind? 12% DS > +1x 19-20
15 MA is just a bonus.
i dont need more reflex, trust in me xD i had 73 reflex on lvl 20 when used divine miths(just 4 AP... work best that Harper KtA for this bluid).

how i will add 11 Quality PRR from a Slave Lords extra slot and  18 Insightful PRR from Cannith Crafting?
i can change +4 Q Cha for 11 Quality PRR but how i will add 18 I Prr from  cannith crafting?

You said you did not want to be squishy.  What exactly does that mean to you?  Do you have a specific amount of damage reduction you think is acceptable?  How many reaper skulls are you trying to stay alive in?

As far as doublestrike goes, you can get higher than the 12% provided by monk stances.  I'm not familiar with TOEE armor, so not sure what you're after there.  But you can net 17% doublestrike from the Celestial Avenger.

I'm pretty sure Wind stance DS is untyped. Still, even though 12% DS is a bit more DPS +1 multi 19-20, you still want to be in fire stance, for the massive extra ki gen, +2 to hit, +3 base damage, and +2 DCs.

Dazing X(from Visions of Precision) stack with stunning bonus +20(from Slave craft Bracers)?
soo +35? o.o

if not stack, would be better  Goggles: CC Wisdom 15, Ins Wis 7, Melee Alacrity 15 ?

They don't stack, but the DC is not why you're wearing it. Enhanced Ki +3 is kind of a big deal.

I would build around a few items as a base.

Pendant of Warrior for Insightful doublestrike
RSO gloves for max doublestrike item
RSO boots for max prr/ins prr item
RSO goggles for dodge/ins dodge item on otherwise shitty eye slot
Hox outfit for Q doublestrike and Q deadly. Parry 7 is a bonus
Ring of Prowess stupid ring BiS for every ranged and melee.

Probably. There is also Legendary Sojourner's Cowl for 9 insightful doublestrike, Q 4 Con, Combat Mastery 14, and Fort 185%. You still want Improved Deception and that comes on a necklace, which would also cover Ghostly. But that means Cowl as the helm. Slavers item would cover the seeker, but you would lose insightful sneak attack item. This is why golden guile is such a great item still, because ghostly items are mostly trash and so are improved deception items. Both effects are on very few items and Guile consolidates 2 weak items into one. I would suggest going this route.

The RSO boots and the 18str cloak can be easily replaced with already overlapping items and slavers or cannith covering the rest. The prr lost by not using the boots is around -12, if using Hox armor for sheltering 38, or -5 if placing sheltering 45 onto a slaver item. Either way 18 insightful should be on a cc item and quality 11 on a slaver item. Hamp and spell saves can go on a trinket. The net loss would be a trivial 1-2% physical damage reduction, a 17 str instead of an 18. Gaining more slots to fill out whatever you have missing using slavers or cannith.

I wouldn't focus on the slavers 5 set or even an ender set. Tho a 3pc slaver set should be able to fit in easily. Can probably try to squeeze in lgs 2piece 18% hp set. Maybe. IDK. Seems hard to fit lgs.

Also, what is your dodge cap and how many reaper points do you have? Having 7 more dodge on gear isn't that great if you're already filling it out.

Ocean Stance:
Dodge: 15 item + 3 Past Life + 6 monk levels + 5 reaper ap + 12 Grand Ocean stance= 41%
Max Dodge: 25 base + 2 guild + 3 Ninja + 3 reaper ap + 8 Grand Ocean stance = 41% Dodge

Fire Stance:
Dodge: 15 item + 3 Past Life + 6 monk levels + 9 reaper ap = 33%
Max Dodge: 25 base + 2 guild + 3 Ninja + 3 reaper ap = 33% Dodge

Nope.  At least for me, it's completely not worth the time and effort to farm entire new sets of gear from Ravenloft unless SSG has significantly increased the difficulty of that content on EE/R1.

Unless you're planning on running a lot of R10s, Slave Lords and Cannith Crafted gear with a few choice named items depending on the build are well beyond the "good enough" point, even for low and mid skull Reapers if you're not a scrub.

As was mentioned by several in one of the other threads here, I'm really, really sick of spending hours playing gear tetris just to slot in one or two items for a 1-3% increase when I'm already facerolling content.

DC casters may be the exception to this, but I tend to not run those very often so /shrug.

You're not wrong. I mean, I'm still going to do it because I don't tr and there isn't anything else to do in this game if you do not TR. But the increases are minimal. 4 to stat points, 2 to doublestrike, few points to deadly and insightful deadly. meh. The new monk stance ring becomes BiS for every melee monk ( non-wolf/tree ) and shuri.

Maybe. 

The +2 deadly is nice, but I'll wait and see what version of the +stance effects actually makes it to live (and survives the first patch) before I bother.

If they nerf it, it'll most likely be complete crap based on the way they've nerfed everything else good lately.  If that happens, it won't be worth giving up the accuracy on the Legendary Prowess ring imo.

Makes the Prowess ring seem weak even though it's going across 2 items, the 2 items are way more powerful than the ring at about 3 items worth of stats for the boots and gloves combo. These actually open up more slots for all dex builds. Throw in the I Deadly 50 prr ring. Loss of Prowess is 8 RP so would have to get that back from the 6 RP Gambit quiver.

Yeah, this has been the biggest problem and shortcoming to SSG's itemization the last few years.

In a vaccum, a lot of the new items look great.   Then you start trying to slot something and watch the entire rest of your gear setup fall completely and utterly apart due to the gear / effect tetris. 

You quickly realize that there's no real rhyme or reason to their itemization design.  Instead of standardizing effects on slots like they did with the cannith crafting systems or giving us something flexible like the Slave Lords crafting, they just throw random effects on pieces and go "Tada!"  A case in point being one of the new named items that had Abjuration focus on it. Yeah, all the casters were really missing that effect so they can roll with 100+ DC for buffs...   :-?

It's hilarious how SSG likes to talk about that particular dumpster fire being intentional because they "want you to have to make hard choices".  The irony is that the choice has been pretty easy.   

You pick the one or two pieces that by some accident fit well with the rest of your existing set that you spent hours/days farming for and say fuck the rest of it.  Which essentially means that the devs just wasted a lot of their time making new items that most people won't bother using because they can't or won't redo their entire gear setup.

On the plus side, at least now all the other shiny new "hard choices" can feed sentient gems so it's not a complete loss. 

Although with that perspective, the devs could have save themselves a lot of coding time by creating a "gem food" item instead.  Give it an icon of a poop emoji for bonus points and call it a day.

This is such old silly concept. "Swap to hjeal amp before you die". It just doesn't work.

Either way, lack of heal amp on newish items really sucks.
Shouldn't use old ass items like Tod rings, Claw gloves or convalescent bracers while levelling but I am such a sucker for hjeal amp. Big difference when you get 300 - 700 cocoons or 400 scrolls from someone. Or any other source matter.

Fuck toons without hjeal amp, seriously.

The gradual increase of persistent, minor lag to the game over the past few years has made swapping like that a pain in the ass, especially on any build with a high hit rate.  More and more lately, I've noticed that I have to hit activated attacks and weapon set hotkeys several times if I don't stop auto-attacking for about 1/2 a second first.  It's annoying as hell, especially on things that require precise timing like Unbridled Fury and adrenaline burns.

For healing amp, you can get it on Cannith Crafted stuff in the glove and trinket slots.  Still not an great fit on a full gear set, but it at least adds a couple more options.

the lag also fucks with my macro into rapid shot randomly. not high rate but sometimes i have to hit G button like 3-4x. and sometimes the boost macro skips the sneak of shadows animation but gives the buff. also rarely does same for rapid shot, which gives buff and skips cooldown.

I dont die much tho with a tank and cc. and im low on hp, 1.5k in reaper. 

my gear is a mess until get trinket and goggles from lady gaga raid. but when i do i will have hamp affirmation offhand, 1.8k hp, 130~ prr.

Silent Avenger + Adherent does seem the way to go. Good job fitting both. You also list a 3 piece slaver, though I only see 2 items for it? If you can't fit the slaver set, maybe try to fit in DoJ goggles?

Would be better to fit in some hamp and a 2pc slaver set for melee. What good is it if a red named cleaves and you're on timer for a minute. Prolly drop adherent or avenger for it.

I dont see how remove slave.
I using slaves for Max STR and CHA.
note: helm slave = seeker, I deception and Q CM.




Keep Silent Avenger Set!
It is a great bonus for a dps and Legendary Disciple of the Dawn(best outfit atm?).

we can remove Adherent but:

  • Cannith add +60 healamp.
  • Adherent add +20 heal amp + 20 prr + 10 MP + 20 SP


+40 heal amp >  20 prr + 10 MP + 20 SP? i prefer keep Adherent.
note: +20 SP add more spellpower for coccon.

but...
What change of the items? be necessary for add CC item.

depends on your score. it might only be 1-2% decrease.

you should wear 2pc lgs hp for meleeing if you plan on doing mid to high reaper.

reaper mode remove doj goggles.
high reaper apply drastic reduction of damage for 2d20.

note: i prefer tempest armor because have Qdeadly, Qdoublestrike, bla bla... 2 all status isnt much for high reaper. the raven armor have sense if u want silent set(any set of raven).
if u dont have interest silent set, Tempest still best(+ DPS).
