as for skills, jump has a cap of 40, so putting jump on a toon with 30+ str isnt going to help much. get a morah's belt for 3 L15 jump clickies

This is the gear I currently have access to and use.

Head: Minos Legens or min2 helm +45hp, alternatively you can put intim 15 here, min 2 cloak with +6 cha tod ring with +2 exp cha
goggles: tharnes for dps, air air air +6 cha skills for tanking
Neck: Stalwart Necklack/Verik's Necklack/Death's Locket
Trinket: Dusk Heart - +1 Resistance ritual/Shimmering Arrowhead
Cloak: +6 CHA cloak/+2 CHA cloaks of greater resists see helm
Wrists: Levik's Bracers/Choasgarde
Hands: +6 DEX gloves/Spectral Gloves
Ring 1: +15 Intimidation see helm
Ring 2: Ring of Balance you want cinders ring for a stacking +2 to ac
Belt: Knost's Belt/Disease Immunity of Greater False Life
Boots: 30% Striding of + 7 Tumble/Feather Falling of +11 Jump
Armour: Dragontouched Plate - +1 Dodge ritual have 2 sets of DT, 1 for dps and another for tanking
Sovereign - Levik's Defender
Tempest - +5 Deflection
Eldritch - +5 Resistance
Shield: +5 Mithral Tower Shield - +1 Dodge ritual ideally u want leviks defender
Weapon 1: Holy/Acid/Acid Greensteel Dwarven Axe
Weapon 2: +4 Metalline Greataxe of Pure Good

I know there's a number of items I need to aquire and craft, once I loot a Levik's Defender shield I can retain the +3 insight bonus to AC while hunting for a +3 dodge bonus on sovereign tier.

Once I get enough materials, I can make a Holy/Acid/+4 insight dwarven axe for tanking. I can dual wield with the other dwarven axe for DPS as needed.

I know I need to find +2 exceptional DEX somewhere and take another armor mastery feat to squeeze another point of AC out of max DEX bonus.

If I get some +4 tomes, I can drop some of the STR/CON enhancements and pick up some more DPS.

At some point I'll be hoping to aquire a Bloodstone, Tharne's Goggles and a Head of Good Fortune.

Any advice/feedback on improving this build appreciated, thanks.

edit: I will be maxing out balance next time around and putting the remainder in jump, so I should end up with about 10-12 jump.

Mine is still sitting at 1 explorer into 17, but still level 16.  But I used a Krieg (Maldini) build updated for the evasion nerf.  One of these days I need to figure out how to fix him.

If anyone has any suggestions, it's Ruhm on myddo.  I'm not sure if he'll show up or not though.

u are talking abt SnB dwarven stalwarts hitting ACs in the 90s, DR6/-, hate +200% (bugged atm from what i read), ability to hit 80+ intim for 100% lock on epic dq and come u5, when snb dwarven axe, you get glancing blows which will increase if you have thf feats

not sure what tomes u used but you base stats are at 16/16/12/14/14/14. 1st get rid of the 3pal and 2rog and get all ftr to qualify for stalwart 3 then if you want evasion, get 2 rog or mnk, if not stay pure or get 2 pal for saves and a little aura

next is the stats, due to it being an old build, you prolly started with 12 int, you can dump it to 10 or 11. 14 wis is way too high, get it down to 8 (10 with tome). lower the dex and go for con

Also in U5 being able to get AC around 80 or so will mean things will actually miss you in Epic, so you can lock them down with intimidate while someone drops a heal scroll on you every now and then and no-one else takes damage (in theory)

Hey Aranticus, a couple of questions.

If I started with 10 INT, where should I put the other build points?

With 10 INT, my skill points will be lower, so in order to maximize Balance, Intimidate and UMD, wouldn't I have to pretty much forego jump altogether?

I have a couple of sets of Dragontouched armour besides the set I wear, that I useto experiment with. Which runes should I be looking at for a DPS set?

For DPS, would it be more worth my while to dual wield dwarven axes, rather than a greataxe?

2 build points can be placed anywhere depending on whether u want to cut cha or not, not cutting is fine as well

your int will be 12 at L7 thus gaining u 1 more skill point

there is a quandry here. if u go twf, you will have lower tanking dps. choice is up to u

yeah, max UMD or just leave it out.  Raid loot isn't race restricted, so most of the top end stuff doesn't require UMD.  UMD is most advantageous at mid levels IMO.

Okay I made the holy/acid/insight axe but my slots are all screwed up again.

Now that I'm not using the Levik's bracers/Sovereign tier rune to get +3 insight bonus to AC anymore, I can wear Chaosgarde for +2 to AC. But I have +6 STR on my Levik's bracers, so I have to use Gloves of the Titan's Grip for the +6 STR.

My +6 DEX was on my gloves, so now I have to shift that to +6 DEX boots, so I can't swap to Spectral Gloves without losing +6 STR. Having DEX on boots means I can't have 30% striding on always and would have to find a slot for DEX when I do ToD, so I have to shift something to a ring slot.

I have +15 Intimidation on one slot and Ring of Balance on the other. I could put a +6 STR or DEX ring on, but that means losing +13 Balance and permanent +2 natural armour. I don't mind the armor so much, because barkskin will cover it, but the hit to Balance is bad. So I ended up replacing the Ring of Balance with a 30% striding ring and will have to either get a +6 STR/DEX ring for ToD, or just do the end fight with less 3 less AC. It's only a temorary fix because that slot is ultimately reserved for Cinder's band.

I know striding isn't necessary, but it really helps in a lot of situations, especially when not hasted in stalwart stance or just for general mobility in combat.

your endgame str item will be cinder's band = +6str, +1 exp con. this coupled with stalwart neck = +6 con, will give u a stacking +2 ac bonus

balance is needed to get up, doesnt prevent you from falling. a fighter's str can help prevent u from falling a lot and thus making balance secondary

I know striding isn't necessary, but it really helps in a lot of situations, especially when not hasted in stalwart stance or just for general mobility in combat.

all my non arcane toons have haste ability of some sort. yeah i'm a haste addict

I use epic spectrals with +1 dex, and have +2 dex on my cinders band for +10 dex from items. When i need dps I use shintao necklace and ring with +2 str on it.

Then i use titan boots for striding/balance when needed.

yeah the only thing is he still doesnt have epic spec glove lol. this is why i told him to plan his gear around the end items he want to have and then while progressing to that stage, get stuff which can fill in the particular slots

Just get a pair of plain jane +6 and swap to specs when you need em until you can upgrade them.

Yep that's what I do now. I've only been playing since feb, didn't get p2p packs till a few months ago. I got lucky to pull spectrals on my 2nd time in the quest.

But with +6 DEX item I'm still 1 DEX short of filling out my max DEX bonus at +7. Not sure how easy the spectrals are to get epic (never done much epic, was going to get geared up and TR'd first), so it's probably going to have to be 2 more build points into DEX on TR, or +2 exceptional DEX from somewhere.

I miscalculated in the earlier post, even with a +3 DEX tome I'd still need +1 exceptional DEX. So unless I farm for a +4 DEX tome, which could literally take years, I may have to put +2 exceptional DEX on cinder's band. I can even the +1 exceptional CON out with a +3 CON tome I've already pulled.

I'm close to making a greensteel wearable item, I have +6 CHA on cloak and use Tharne's Goggles atm. I want to do a tanking/UMD set of +6 CHA skills goggles and a +45 HP item but as I have +6 CHA on cloak, I'm at a loss as to where to find +6 CHA, if I put the HP on a cloak.

Any suggestions?
