As they usually break existing 3 things that worked just fine for every new thing they introduce it will be interesting to see how badly they screw up this time. I am expecting great things from their new "inventory Seach" and "automatic inventory sell" functions, I can see all sorts of epic fail there waiting to happen  Wink

I have to admit they set a pretty high benchmark with U5 though, it certainly will be hard to surpass that gem.

I just hope that the unequip-all upon login is finally fixed.

*EDITE*

I would like to add that if (IF!) it works, an AH search function would be one of the most useful things they have added to DDO in a very long time. Now as to why it did not have one to begin with like most other MMO's, thats another story I guess...

This is entirely speculation, but from what I've seen of the two, I'm not sure how much cut / paste is possible.  Perhaps their both still close enough to the base code vs branching... idk.

The LOTRO mail system is sooo much more refined for example.
Sometimes it seems like DDO is the Proof-of-Concept and LOTRO is the polished project to show the teacher.

However, ANY search / filter is an improvement. 
Although, from the comments it seems like its more of a 'text' search, which is great for named items or prefixes, but I figure, if you're going to do a search, then do a search.
There's really little reason not to be able to look for +INT items or other properties besides name IMO.
Sad part is, if they just exposed some basic account secured API, I guarantee there are enough code-monkey DDO fan's that would have droid / iPhone and Greasemonkey browser scripts available in flash and Silverlight to search every facet in any way shape or form in under 30 days.

Blackberry my bid for a +6 CON item ending in 1 hour on the subway home FTW!
