Yup I admit it I'm a noob. I have my first character up to 16th level (though I've never run a raid yet) and was strugling for plat when I started playing yesterday.  But then Tymora smiled on me.

First I got some +5 mithral fullplate, the min level 8 stuff. I was happy about that 'cuz it's a nice little peace of twink gear that I could save for my lowbee or sell for a nice chunch of plat. I went from there to the sands to do a little farming hoping to pull a dusk heart and insted I pulled a bloodstone. I sold that for 600k plat and some firestorm greaves, sold the greaves for 500k plat. I finished off the night in a giant hold run where I pulled a +3 metalline pure good great axe.

Maybe not that great for the vets but this little noob is doing a happy dance!

I got a feeling you are mixing up the definition of noob vs newb.

A noob is someone that doesnt learn shit about the game and thinks he already has all the mad skillz needed to be uber.

A newb is just a new player or a derogatory term for a vet that fucks up like he just started playing.
