When I am a little bored I will solo Sins (normal) on my monk Dreamler. I did two runs last night. First run I got three chests to spawn (besides the end fight chest)and pulled two large scales. Second run I had two chests spawn and had one large bone drop. I know this isn't a valid statistical sample, but it is a lot more than I ever remember dropping in the past. I am curious if any of you guys have had a little better luck since the update?

nice to see if they fixed that issue. Was a great source of larges (and other sizes) and then it went to near nothing all of a sudden.

if what you say is true, then the best ingredients farm quest is back in business..

large scales galore

You have something else to run instead?

I am running it on a character that has been level 20 since January. I am not seeing what you are talking about.

I will take it upon myself to educate the noob Scaredycat.

He is not talking about xp you idiot.  He is talking about loot runs.

Reading Comprehension FTW.

Also, as a major FYI-after you xp farm Reavers Refuge, you can take level 19.  It will not effect your xp at all in Faggot Quarter.

Although, if you do it correctly, you dont need to go to Faggot Quarter, Reavers Refuge would be your stop.

If I skip Amrath, then how will I get my new characters from 15th to 16th level ?   Run boring crap ? Naaaw.  Amrath is for level 15's to grow a pair.

Oh, and I'm away but man, I sure hope they did up the drop rates in there. My favorite Battlefield quest!

hmm... do i explain what i meant or not care?

as i understood it....Amrath is now dropping more larges..

newb thinks 'oooh Amrath is so hard! fw no longer works there. i'll go and 'contribute' to lots of shroud runs. and oh i can do a lot of other raids... and i can do this IQ stuff. and never go near Amrath where my fw doesn't work.'

newb then is then sad that it takes months to complete GS because they have no larges and not enough high level chars to run shrouds (and their shrouds keep failing anyway - they don't know why).

and then suddenly... larges are dropping a *lot* more in Amrath... the word gets around. maybe the newbie will get their GS faster.

hence my comment:

ha. how they get newbies to not ignore Amrath...

yep... and in this you can skip Amrath altogether XP wise if you're a newb with no TR char. hence other than the casual flagging for TOD there has been no incentive whatsover for newbies to run Amrath - and so they don't. (Yugo pots nice but not necessary).

now waiting Epoch's reading comprehension assessment test results.

Wow, you were actually coherent this time.

See the difference it makes when you actually let people know what you are talking about? Instead of just saying random comments that did not really pertain to the OP, as he clearly did not understand either.

I see my class did well for you.

I give you an A.

Although, I was expecting quite a different reaction, and aiming for one... It seems I failed... this time...

I dunno if it's just my shitty luck, but my large-pulling-rate seems unchanged. Getting a shitload more smalls/mediums, though Sad

Running quests on casual is for children and buttpirates.

Stainer:  Ran 3 (Gen, Bast, New Inv) on Friday.  Meds and Smalls were more abundant but didn't see a significant drop of larges.

Thanks everybody. Looks like I ran into a string of good luck. I should have ransacked desert while it was going. Smiley

Two-boxed sins twice the other night, hit all the chests.  Nothing in 'em worth mentioning.
