Half-Orc Monk Build ? (Read 4385 times)

	Yeah I know, probably a stupid idea, but I want to try out if it can avoid being a complete gimp. So the rules are simple : - 32 points build - Monk - Try to be not too much gimped. ( I can live with some gimpiness, I'm a Frog after all ) - can survive at high level... eventually. Anybody has an idea if it's possible, achievable or if I should just throw away the idea and do a Half-Orc Barbarian like the rest of the mob. I was thinking of something along the line : STR 16, DEX 15, CON 15, INT 6, ( me dumb ) WIS 16, CHA 6, ( me ugly )

	For starters, as a str build everyone starts off with 16.� You are a STR based race, pump that shit up to 18. str 18 dex 15 con 14 wis 15 Voila. whats 20 hp anyways? Of course, if you prefer the 20 hp, wis 14, con 15. Difference? -1 dc to quivering palm and stunning fist, and FoD, and the new shintao powers. But, certainly makes it alot easier to get earth stance 4, which is amazing. So really, whatever your preference.

	With your -2 modifier from INT you get only 2 skill points each level. Concentration and ...? Balance/Jump (half each)? and maybe a few points in Spot?

I don't need to be a uber jumper... just to be able to jump better than a cleric. I intend to let the spot part in the hand of another party member... or to spot by triggering traps as I pass on them. ( like any true half orc should do ) And anyway it's going to take me time to get him to high level... I'll soon have lots of work with my European refugees... Stuff like TRing a few of them, GRing ( we coudln't do that in Europe ) some other, getting rid of some ( that I kept for the transfer just as mules... )... and leveling those that weren't LVL 20 yet.

	I would advice no points in jump as it will be nearly useless. Your strength is already going to be high enough, and you can abundant step. Plus you can just get a Jump clickie from ToD and you'll be good to go.
