In speed runs we nearly do that... fact is all go in part two and quick clear run up pull the nameds dragging them NE letting those (which should had been said in part 1) assigned to ele to pull it off and blitz kill it all without that annoying conversation on prep this that or the other. I get annoyed in many runs because people besides the arcane are stopping to shrine in part one and roll on shards...

The slickest and quickest runs are not to loot but keep the ball rolling fast as possible...

Emili, We need to run a sabotage Shroud!  Let's give it a go.  I want to be the Saboteur!  This is the best thing I've ever heard come from a Legion guild member.  By far.  Wink

I do it with a friend of mine, we actually duo part 2 while everyone is rolling on shards. By the time everyone zones in everything is dead and we're moving on to the next part. I heal, he kills. Pretty simple, actually. Just need a solid DPS and a competent healer.

EDIT: Now that we have an uber caster in our guild nobody has to pull off of the named to break the crystal! If the portals didn't have so many hp I don't even see a reason to bring anyone else to our shrouds.

If you can complete a Sabotage Shroud, you can complete any PUG shroud.


When I led a few training shrouds for Loreseekers newbies or people who wanted to learn the shroud I'd every now and then send a tell to a member I knew would do things fun and have them do fun things we all know not to do in shroud. Grease a portal, Pull early in part 2, break crystals or water a puzzle early. You can imagine the fun they were.

Also I've told people on my hound runs to click the rune to spawn devils just for fun while fighting a beholder.

To be fair, you announce the saboteur.  In fact, we do a /roll d100, high roll = saboteur.  So everyone knows. Smiley

Please note, you lose chests in part 3, as the saboteur will, of course, not do their puzzle, and will step on the tiles to prevent you from doing it, so you almost always have to shatter their door crystal. Tongue

One more question:  what happens if the saboteur dies?
