Thinking of Ranged Dps Spec....

I dont quite have the build yet for it, but I need some advice/hints. I've been thinking long and hard( Grin) about making a Frenzied Berserker Arcane Archer. Basically, the levels will be pure 20 barb with half-elf(no penalties and +2 dex?)  making the damage of the shot good. I am not quite sure yet of the to-hit of it however. Any comments that have relevance to my build?

Here is the problem..  you used ranged and dps in the same sentence.

Also you would need a Sorc past life to qualify for AA on a pure barb.

His was totally relevant.  He pointed out the build's problem was centered around the combination of "ranged" and "DPS" in the same sentence.

You actually need a class with SP or you don't get AA abilities.

You also run out of feats...
18 Barb, 1 Wiz, 1 Ranger if you want Bow Strength and no IPS (single target ranged damage only)
18 Barb, 1 Wiz, 1 Fighter if you want IPS and no Bow Strength (locked in to using shitty Gnollish War Bow)

FBIII + AA just don't play well together.

Yes, as I understand it, your toon must actually have a blue bar in order to be an Arcane Archer.
