Weapons at end game

I'm curious what everyone's impressions are of the following:

2HF Weapons:

I know the eSoS is the shit, but what about the Antique Great Axe, the Hellstroke Great Axe, LitII, MinII?  Anything else out there that makes sense?  I'm thinking against Raid/Epic Bosses, Epic trash, Elite VoD, ToD, Shroud situations.

Same with Khopeshes.  There's the epic Chaos blades.  Where do they fit vs. Lit II, Min II.  Anything else register of value in any situation?

I've not tried out all these items, so I'm curious to hear from some players who have done some comparisons.

I can think of an ideal and simple way to get comparisons between these weapons. All you have to do i..

Oh Wait

You don't like this kind of thing, I won't bother.

for thf all pales in comparison with esos even in epic dq. For elite shroud, tod you should prob get one of the two dr breakers you talked about.

for twf use picks for trash but generally lit ii > e chaosblade. If you were a pure pally you could use e chaosblade as ur dr breakers and ur dps will surpass min II's.

keep on using that dreamspitter switch to staff of shadows from new quest when broken. I have the epic souleater on bard and rogue still seems things die much faster with woowoo sticks.

For auto-crit beatdown you want high multiplier or offensive on-crit effects which Souleater does not give you.

Epic Souleater is better for general use though. Crit/damage profile of a greatsword instead of staff. Keeps a buffer of temp HP while refilling the actual HP under that buffer. Effectively a +7 weapon for most due to +2 profane strength. And on top of all that it has a hilarious random proc.

You'll see it hit quite a bit after you've already been de-leveling a mob. Then it gets the DR from being turned to stone Sad

Ruin,

I don't ever claim to know everything about DDO.  There are lots of players that play much more than I do and have more experience than I do.  So, when I want to know something, I ask the people I respect who've been there and done that.  I learn something and enjoy the discussion.

You, on the other hand, fire up excel and make your own answer.

Not that there's anything wrong with your way.  As I said before to you (since you like to quote me): To each his own.  You do it your way, I'll do it mine.
