I noticed that it said something about XP when I was in the cove part of the event? I didn't pay any attention, but does it award xp? If so, I am going to run this on my TR.

If it is true, then a TR is a great way to burn through the mobs.

The quest window said the event was worth 6500xp.  I was on a 20 so I have no idea if it actually rewarded or not.

Got ~750 exp soloing at level 5. Amazing exp.

I think I saw 6500 on my lvl 19... so I was guessing maybe 2500 or so around lvl 15. I could farm on a 20 and just get items, or I could work on my TR and at least pick up some XP.

w/ bonuses and pots and stuff I was getting just over 8200 (on my lvl 18 w/ 20's in the group)

the 25% bonus this weekend will add nicely to this!

yep this is true but if you on a Tr make sure your not with people to high because just like a quest they will overpower your xp and even getting the green dragonshards

I think they have the "power leveling" amped up WAY too high.

We had the instance set to level 18

party make up:
lvl 18 x 1
lvl 19 x 1
lvl 20 x 4

there was a -10% to exp (this is the normal amount for 2 lvls over quest lvl)
yet there was a -25% to dragonshards (this is acting like there were people lvl 21 in the quest, or acting as if the quest was lvl 17)

/sigh @ the dragonshards
