I don't know if you guys noticed in the user view on the bottom, but the first thing 404error did when he got back to the Vault was start using his official Turbine nick. Maybe, just maybe, someone is listening.

I totally get this, and the desire to not overburden Strakeln. Ofcourse if lines are crossed then the credibility of this forum will be compromised and people wont use it as much. I would be willing to help in any way if asked to lighten a burden if its on an admin end.

Exactly, which is why I said it was impossible to somehow regulate how they use these forums without disrupting what we have going on here.
Either they can use these forums or they cannot.  Attempting to regulate exactly how they use it would go against the very nature of what this place is about.  It can't be done while keeping this place as it is.

Just want to put it out there, that I sent a Turbine Employee a PM and got a response! I think these folks are totally getting it, Atleast based on the response I got. I can guarantee I will speak out call people names on these boards but not a turbine staffer when they are being up front. And I have had a slight change of heart regarding enforcing policy. If some one is dumb enough to get caught in a breach of their ML commitments then let them hang... Just like someone who makes a Moronic post is hung out to dry on these boards. I'm still a bit iffy on forum policing on DDO by using the Vault, but if Jerry wants to do it as Cordovan he should call the people out! Over here. Up front and in the open, I can respect that, but not the lurking. Call us a bunch of Moronic idiots if you want Jerry, just like you can treally prove I am the JonnyD on DDO, I cnt prove you are Mockduck over here!

I agree about the ML comment definitely.  If you're going to leak don't do it yourself.  That's begging to be called out.  Even if Turbine didn't have people here all it would take is one person here that doesn't like you and reports the link to Turbine to get you nailed.  Just a dumb way of going about things.

And as for the moderation thing, agree there too.  It's basically the same issue.  If you're going to do something dumb that's going to get you infractions then who cares how they find out about it.  I'm all for pushing the mod's...sometimes just for fun...but some posts just beg for an infraction and to post here about it again just begs to get it reported.  It's like a guy breaking in to a house and then taking out a newspaper ad to brag about doing it.
