	We�re proud to announce that a new German server world will open for Dungeons & Dragons Online�: Eberron Unlimited� beginning 8/17/2011. The new server is named Wayfinder, a name that comes from the society of explorers who leave helpful markings throughout their journeys in order to aide lost travelers. 	I wonder if this will lead to a South American and Asia/Australia servers? I think if they do an Asia/Australia server, Khyber would take a big hit.

Part of me dislikes this, because it separates players because of language. Hell, most Germans speak English better than me. It is good for you Germans/Europeans though, because it sounds like there may be reduced lag.

	As I wrote in other thread on the live forums, my guess is that this is not made to drain german players from other servers to Wayfinder, but rather to provide a basis for new german players. There is little reward for players who have settled on one of the servers and have already arranged themselves with the fact that you should be able to speak english. Also, the small amount of free transfers, you won't be able to transfer full accounts easily. Imho, it's not purely coincidental that today is the start of Germany's biggest electronic games fair, the Gamescom at Cologne. Wayfinder is the new Orien.

	I saw this in parallel and genned a toon, for I am nosy and I can sort of speak German. Ish. With the wind behind me. I thought I'd run around and grab the quick Turbine points. (wasn't it 50 TP for 5 favour on a new server? If so, that ain't working, I did a quick Info is Key on elite as the quickest thing I could think of so was well in). the Who list was all new players, couldn't see any transferees. Some deutsch guilds, as expected, but some English language guilds, too. Then I got peed off that I didn't get my TPs and logged. Thus ends the investigation.

You get the TP after you complete The four quests in Korthos if I remember correctly.

	Oh, the village quests? I hadn't remembered a stipulation like that but I could be wrong, it's a long time since I've favour farmed, but I was all, Yes! quick quest and 50 TP, yay! about it. And then a bit boo hiss when it didnae work.

	Shouldn't be any mandatory quests. You should get first time bonus TP at 5, 25 and 50 favor regardless of how you get there.

	An update on the community's opinion: Some people don't understand this move and call it stupid, having the fact in mind that the Codemaster Servers were recently closed. Most people don't want to lose the benefits on their home servers, be it Ships, favor or friends. They are making an alt and reserving names, but not more. This is also my way to do that. But we'll see how this turns out. Depending on the server, Wayfinder might have better PUG options than your home server, due to time zone shifts.

I just did the first three newbie quests (Crypt, Storehouse and Crystal) which gives 6 favor and got my 50 TP reward. The mail icon didn't show until I traveled to the harbor, though.

	Oh, maybe it was that then. I didn't zone out of the harbour and back, so it might just not have shown. Didn't check the TP balance, I was being scatty last night. I keep on flirting with a timezone shift server, even have a midlevel toon on Ghallanda, but I always end up coming back to Khyber.
