Never really got into the GTA series. Killing prostitutes after having sex with them is only fun for a short time.

San Andreas was probably my favorite GTA of all. Huge world, awesome story and great soundtrack. Vice City is a very very very close second. Even better soundtrack, but the mechanics of game play weren't as refined and intricate as San Andreas.

I loved GTA IV, but it was definitely missing some of the cooler parts from San Andreas. The huge, wide open world rest mentions is definitely a big part of what was missing. Jets, parachutes, and rocketpacks were also sorely missed. It looks like jets may make a comeback for V. Sweet.
Not so sure on the choice of locale, though. Given all of the cities in the world, or even within the country, why do we have to go back to LA? We were just there in San Andreas...
Not that it matters, I'll buy it when it comes out no matter what.
