I dont bother checking my spelling and punctuation to be honest. Sometimes I abbreviate, sometimes I dont.... just depends on what I can be bothered with at the time.

this isnt a CV, homework of a dissertation so why bother Smiley

Only partly because it really is annoying, but mostly because they have nothing else to offer.
