Well, it's entirely possibly he's a friend of jimmy's and not jimmy. He clearly knew all about the history of reunion/remnants/etc so he's clearly been associated for awhile. The way he refused to admit the renown exploiting and insisted it was all "hard work" was hilarious and very jimmy-like. It was pretty obvious he knew exactly how the guild got to level 100, heh.
