I hate the Capra Demon. I've even tried getting up on the ledge to take out the dogs and drop on him.

10 humanity = highest item drop rate you can get. after that, it just adds to your resistance/defense.
10 humanity > kill the Halberd Black Knight > own everything in the game with it.

So I've been practicing parrying a lot. It's not very easy, but I have a feeling it will massively come in handy on my restart.
You can parry every black knight and Havel btw.
