Most of us probably had to learn how to spell through grades 1-12 and still generally spell things correctly out of habit. I can't speak for everyone here but I know I do little self-grammar proofing. It certainly is not time consuming. I didn't see my first spell checker until...WordPerfect...did that have a spell check function? Is there even a point to joining Mensa? I can't see one.

Of course, I'd probably take the bar after going to law school, too. I like taking tests just to see how I do. I added 3 areas of certification to my teaching certificate after I was initially certified in math just because I liked the idea of being able to teach more areas even though I knew it was unlikely that I would end up doing so.

I call Bullshit - people on all 3 sides of the fence sometimes rush out responses & type from phonr and use run on sentances and mispel ti8ngs that still let us get our points across and sometimes even make a modicum of sense. ps I have with El as well, he was an ass.... kept talking and talking and talking.... oh wait, nm that was Perma & I being dicks..... carry on.
