Barbarian/Ranger -Tempissed build

Looking down the road on my TR character I am working on a build for my Barbarian life (current monk, Life 1 - cleric). End game play is not important, just fun to level. And I wanted to make a build for the name.
I am thinking 14/6 barbarian/ranger. TWF dwarf. I had planned to start with 1 level ranger then barb then.... I don't know.
Something like
Str: 16
Dex: 16
Con: 18
to start. After that I think it is 3 pts/+1 and rather than min/maxing was going with
Int: 10
Wis: 12
Char: 6
Suggestions on order of levels?
Different split?
Scrap the Int and Wis for more Con (or Str or Dex)?
Stat increases into?
Any particularly useful items I should keep my eyes open for during my current life? I don't plan on grinding to look for a particular item but may do an extra run or 3 if I'm feeling lucky.
What greensteel item should I craft if I get the chance? I am currently thinking a +HP cloak but really have no plan.
Other suggestions?
My current life is only level 15 so I have time. I also have a spare character slot that I can use to test run a bit?

12/6/2
barb/ranger/rogue
why ??
you get evasion
and what do you lose taking those 2 barb lvls off ??? not much imho and you gain alot more skills and versatility leveling up....
as for stats look at this and see what you think
str: 18
dex: 15
con: 16
int: 10
wis: 9
cha: 9
you can take some away from str if you want but these arent bad and im assuming you have +2 dex tome for GTWF as TWF and ITWF are granted with the 6 lvls of ranger
and for leveling id go
rogue/barb/ranger x 6 / rogue / barbarian +++++

The thing I don’t like is that you won’t wind up with enough feats to satisfy you. For a melee heavy character 6 ranger nets you TWF/iTWF. You will also want the following:
Level 1: Dodge*
Level 3: Mobility*
Level 6: Spring Attack*
Level 9: IC: Slashing
Level 12: Power Attack**
Level 15: Cleave**
Level 18: Toughness***
And you still need to fit in Greater Two Weapon Fighting.
* Tempest 1 prereq
** Frenzied Berzerker prereq
*** Barb/Racial Toughness prereq
You could do 1-2 Fighter to fit in GTWF and something like Improved Sunder or Stunning Blow.
Edit 1: Why do I keep forgetting Improved Sunder?
Edit 2: If you wanted to save the name for later you could always save it for a TWF Barbarian Tempest III/Frenzied Berzerker III after the proposed enhancement revamp.

good suggestion either way works / but if you do want the evasion you could just drop ics not the greatest thing but it works

I wouldn't think he'd care much about the tempest I prereq's, for a character that's just there to get the past life done and over with. Just take out the dodge/mobility/spring attack, and throw in whatever feats make the leveling process easier.
Same thing kinda applies to improved sunder. Great for raid bosses, and maybe some other bosses in the last level or two of grinding. Everything else dies too fast to care about it for a speedbump life.

It seems pretty obvious that he wants Tempest I in the build.
(Though we’ve probably talked him out of that by now.)
For the amount of trouble he could have a much better time on a different type of splash
(ex. 2 Rogue, or 2 Ranger, or 2 Fighter)
or stay pure.
I like levelling with Improved Sunder nowadays. Critting elementals, constructs and undead is nice. And the Trauma effect is a nice setup for something like Stunning Blow.

I swear the viscous damage from the FB stuff slows down TWFing, but it might simply be a visual only thing.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Sorry I wasn't clear. I wasn't trying to incorporate the Tempest 1. It first looked be too many feats to build in and I think I'd rather have the Frenzied Bezerker line. I'll have to look at Quantum's suggestions to see if that will work. Maybe switch to human to get an extra feat.
I agree there is not much gain from barbarian 12 to 14 (extra point of damage reduction, better will save when raged). The question become what to do with these two levels: fighter for an extra feat; rogue for evasion (might also allow for an alternative to the traditional "barbarian disarm"; monk (this might allow me to pick up the extra feats for both enhancement lines)
Goal is to have an effective melee with enough levels to meet the barbarian life criteria. Hopefully this can be done in way to fit the Tempissed name. At the rate that I level, I may not get to this life until well after the enhancement makeover has been implemented.
Thanks again for suggestions.
(edit to add: ooops, forget the monk option due to alignment restrictions).

When I'm building a character to get the past life, I generally only plan for 18 levels. I usually hold level 18 until I'm almost xp capped, level to 19, and then get enough xp to get to level 20. That way I keep my options open for getting into groups for xp.

.
And you don't give a hoot about it actually playing like a barbarian?
Barb 11/Ranger 9/Rogue 1 - helf with Monk dilly. it'll play like an exploiter ranger with high AC, good DPS, hjeal-scrolls, trap-monkey abilites, etc . . .
Just TR the second you hit cap as it'll be worthless in end-game

I ran a 12/6/2 Barb/Ranger/Rogue (elf). I'm pretty sure I skipped cleave, but it was just for one life and I tr'd when I hit 20.
