Suggestions?
What life would be quick/easy and most benefit later lives.
I am thinking a dex based monk since I am having fun with that currently.
Does not have to be viable for endgame play since I will just TR him. It would be a 28 pt build.
I'd want to hit 1750 favor to get a +2 tome since they carry over.
I could start as a level 7 veteran.
I'd have the Greater Learning tome.
It would be nice to get 100 favored with the 12 to get the bag but not important. I would plan working on my green steel on my second life.
I don't have warforged or favored soul.
Feel free to suggest a second/third life as well.
And yes, I did buy the collector's edition of the expansion pack pre-order. Since it gives a greater tome on each server I figured I take advantage of it.
(my main is on Khyber).
An yes Turbine will get the money for a couple of True hearts from me.

Make "something", hit 400 Favor and make a new character: Drow PM -> "equal" to 32 pt build, self heal, 20 INT.
Opinions are like assholes: everybody has one... but they all stink.

I'd just have to remember not to screw up and use the Greater tome on my "something" character. Would be easy enough to get to 400 favor without bothering to earn any experience so it wouldn't be missed.
I've not played casters but my impression is that they are somewhat weak at the early levels. Starting as a lev 7 vet would avoid that.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Level 7 = tier one PRE and firewall on a wizzie. Bonkers. Even a sorc would be pretty good.

I'd probably go for a Warforged Fire Sorcerer just because you don't really need any gear to kick ass and take names and you can actually do something useful with the Sorcerer with almost no gear once you hit 20. I'd probably re-spec to Cold or Air or even Acid eventually, but even Fire is fine for some things after you get past Devil-opolis.

I agree with going fire sorc. Then once you hit 18 switch to earth or ice.

As I said, I don't have warforged.
I'm thinking I'll combine this with my other thread and make a Tempissed build on the new server. Even if it sucks, I won't be stuck with it long.

Healer; it will get you into groups and guilds more easily.

I was going to save healer for a later life for just that reason. I figure first life will be the easiest to solo if need be.

Yes and no.. lack of twink gear and self healing can make a painful first life for any toon.

I had exactly this experience when I moved to Khyber and went with a pure drow wizard palemaster.
Still play the character regularly and haven't TR'd yet, can handle just about all content (43 necro, 41 enchant, 41 conjuration DCs, 29 spell pen, 532 HP, 2200 SP) and is really fun to play.
Just kited dogs for the characters first time in hard lob which was fun, got most of everything else done so working on an alchemical shield now.
These days I'd suggest elf rather than drow for the higher spell penetration but either works (elf is only strictly better if you have access to 32 point builds).
