Wait, what e-mail? I'd hate to break some sort of Preview and Non-Disclosure Agreement by discussing the beta outside some sort of Beta Forums.

I can neither confirm nor deny a beta invitation...though everyone who prepurchased got invited, anyway, so not really a "closed" beta.

You actually can't without getting your beta access revoked.  Since the NDA most likely precludes even sharing that you are in the beta you can't tell anyone you have a code to give away.

Won't matter to me if I get the email or not - I'm done "testing" their shit. It makes no difference what feedback we give, it just falls on willfully deaf ears. They didn't listen to jack shit during the beta in 05, they didn't listen to jack shit during the Unlimited beta a couple of years back - and chances are really good they won't listen to jack shit now.


They were better off calling Llama a Preview server - because they don't/won't/can't change a damn thing. Turbine's idea of testing is a bad joke with a kick to the balls as a punchline.


The only reason I might log on to the beta will be to check out the Druid, and see if they fucked that up too.

Same here...  I want a head start on learning how this shit works and I want to find the exploits so I can use them to my advantage on live before they get patched.

OK, I'm the jackass.  I skimmed the email the first time but I didn't actually see the link to the NDA.

Which is fucking ridiculous...anyone who pre-ordered and one friend is eligible...  So, all you have to odd is create a dummy account and release the info through that and let them track down 1 out of a few thousand.
