I ran out for a lunch break at midnight to pick up a copy at Fred Meyers.  They stayed open for a special midnight release.  I like to call it peanut butter.


I have a character in act 2 already.  I will start a new toon to group with guys though!  Not another monk though, talk about boring.

Got a Wiz to lvl 11 yesterday. I was all giddy at first, but the game is starting to lose its appeal now since all the spells/skills/stats are pretty much pre-selected for me. Also heard that Blizz takes a 30% cut from anything you sell in the cash auction house, which is bullshit if it's true (I haven't looked into it myself yet).

Also, no open-PK and no list of games to choose from is sorta' bullshit.

other than stat distribution on level ups i think theres more customization/flexibility in builds. obviously you cant tell as much at lvl 11 as im not even sure you have more than one rune unlocked and only a few abilities. once you get higher lvl youre often switching abilities and runes and its fuckin sweeeet! also i dont mind if blizz takes 30% from cash sales. you still have the option of getting real money from a virtual item that in other games you would have got nothing for. and i believe pvp is being added later (hopefully soon). i wouldnt be surprised if they improved the lobby or how joining games works.

its not turn based. high action and shitloads of fun to play. doesnt look that awesome when watching videos or someone else play but it is. i wasnt excited about the game much pre launch but once i actually played i got addicted. it has a nice mixture of simplicity and complexity although the difficult stuff is mostly all a gear check.
