They have gona ahead and done a major rebalancing on crafting on Lammania now, increasing the level on the most desirable shards.

greater false life is now for example lvl 149, +6 stat shards are lvl 150. BOUND lvl 150!

I can see that a lot of people that have put a lot of effort into crafting to get to lvl 90+ to make those shards will be really really pissed off by this change.

Will be a lot of nerdrage over this on the forums.

Now let the shit hit the fans  Grin

No, that's the flexible shards. The rebalancing is ML (Read here non-caped character's shit is going to fall off as soon as they log in, judging by my 12 I ported over for a mid-level test.)

Good point - I should port over my mid level bard, since she's the one with the BTA twink gear, and see how bad it is..

I expect the min level nerd rage to be high. Glad I didn't spend any TPs on it.

The only thing I realy liked with canith craftig were some low level shards like invul., sup. stability and lifeshield. Guess thats over then...  grrr.

Why can't turbine learn that giving people something and then taking it back is far worse then to never implement it in the first place? You worked hard for you crafting levels? Sucker.. we will nerf it soon. Well.. it's Turbine...what was I exspecting?

Does that only apply to spell power type items, or is other stuff getting "rebalanced"? Mostly curious about +6 stat shards and +2 DC shards.

This is probably their response to what they would consider a particularly vile[sic] method of leveling one's crafting skill.

Nice to see that, once again, when they introduce something that's not working as intended through entirely their own mistakes, it's the playerbase that suffers punishment for making use of undisclosed changes that they themselves put in.

Settle guys, nothing is having the minimum crafting level increased there are just new shards (including new old shards with less stringent slot requirements) being introduced.

I'm thinking that I should put some devotion/elemental shards on the AH when the expansion goes live, might make a killing ...

Same shards, but not as gear-slot limited...like maybe you could put +int on boots or gloves, for example.

I've already made my BTA twink for stats and some rogue skills.

Any other BTA is for certain classes for past lives.

I'd hoped to get some more weapons but what I wan't doesn't always appear in BTA form on the reward lists.

Mostly though, I got mine.  Cheesy
