I had to laugh at this one.

At first I thought they were just going "You know what'd be cool?" and making a cosmetic pet of it, but now I'm willing to bet they have at least 12 if not 24 months of cosmetic pets pre-planned.

I just looked up what the going rate is for platinum from a plat farm vendor and it is about $1.00 / 100k plat.
Given what is selling on the AH for the new render pets, you could make about 300k plat per pet bought in the DDO store...the same rate as the chinese plat farmers.
Yeah Turbine, just look the other way while your coffers are filled.

I'm a bit pet overloaded, to be honest. Not sure which I'd part with Turbine points for. Although I think a rust monster would be fab for someone who, unlike me, likes playing Warforged Smiley

That said they are cheap for a bit of fluff.
