Having run the snoresfest that's getting through the demonweb once, is there, please oh please, somewhere in the Forgotten Realms that acts as a planescaller, and then some way to teleport between Eberron and FR?

You can pop right on over via the same entrance once you've run it once. Basically uses the ToD mechanic, but without needing to talk to a given NPC. (They also use the same deal for once you flag for the underdark chain, and hit the explorer portal there.)

Also hear tell there's a guild ship portal someplace over there, but never really bothered hunting.

Oh thank goodness for that. I was freaking out that they were listening to the "it should be difficult to get between worlds, and all your armour / stuff should go" tards.
