As it is now whenever you change a weapon "style" -  like going TWFing to a bow or handwraps - the effects of all your worn gear cease to function until they are dequiped and re-equipped.  it's particularly annoying and borderline game-breaking.

Will this be fixed for live?

Had this happen a few times, but it was only after swapping destinies around.

Bouncing between two weapon fighting and bows was fine.

That's not opinion, that's science. And science is one cold hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap on.

Maybe they read that post of ainmosi "I am a ranger" and decided to nerf it.

it's not a weapon-swap issue. it's a centered-ness issue.

monk splashes are F-ed

I don't think that's the case either as my Ranger has no monk levels or dilettante has had it happen after swapping destinies between Fury and Shiradi. Of course, you don't notice this until you wander into a zone and start getting critted.

My paladin that does have the half-elf monk bits, has had it happen as well, but it was always right after swapping destinies around and there was never a time that he actually became centered due to tower shield and heavy armor.

and just for the record, i assume you probably already took this into account and found it was not the issue, but, these were not rogue-types you were getting critted by on your non monk splash? they bypass fortification so this could be an issue if it really is monk-related, but monk is such a common splash that people may have just attributed it to a centerd-ness issue since it happened on their monk splash characters.

No splashes on either of them.

Went to character sheet and it was showing 0% fort. Re-equipped items and then it was fine.
