TWF feat advice

I have a human tempest/kensai with the following chosen feats (omitting auto-granted feats):

Power Attack
Weapon Focus Bludgeon
Weapon Specialization Bludgeon
IC: Bludgeon
Toughness
Dodge
Mobility
Spring Attack
Stunning Blow
IC: Ranged
Quickdraw
Oversized TWF

I really like the looks of Overwhelming Critical, and I'd like to pick it up.  In order to do so, though, I need to find room for Cleave and Great Cleave, which means that I need to replace at least one of my currently chosen feats.  Looking over my list, I think Quickdraw and OTWF seem like the best candidates to replace, but I wanted to ask people here about their thoughts.

1.  Are cleave and great cleave worth anything for a TWF?  I've heard that they have been revised and are now pretty good for THF, with bigger base damage die, slower attack rate, and glancing blows.  But I'm not sure about TWF.  If cleave and great cleave are worthless, I'm going to have to think long and hard about that feat tax just to get Overwhelming Critical.

2.  Between Quickdraw and OTWF, which feat do you suggest I replace?  Quickdraw's benefits seem rather minor, but between all of the action boosts that I use and swapping between weapons (ranged for manyshot, different weapon sets, etc) I think I get pretty good use out of it.  With the revamped combat mechanics, a -2 to-hit is a lot less significant than it was before.

3.  Are there any other worthwhile epic feats?  If I don't pursue Overwhelming Critical, I'd need to find a couple more "filler" feats.  At this point probably Point Blank Shot and one other.  Even if I do pick up OC, I would consider dropping both Quickdraw and OTWF to get another epic feat if there was one that seemed worth it.

Thanks!

Level split? And are you splashing monk for unarmed or are you after the new warhammers?

Quickdraw and oversized are pretty much trash now. You can always activate that cleave as soon as you boost.

Overwhelming critical is borked right now though anyhow.

On smrti, I took great strength as my lvl 24 feat to even out the stat bump.

Thanks for the suggestions.

12 ranger/7 fighter/1 rogue

I started with warhammers just because they don't take a feat, they look damn cool, and they are decent weapons.  It just happens to be lucky for me that some of the recent hammers are good Smiley

I have the rogue for trap skills, so skills are worthwhile to me.  I guess that's something else to consider, although an entire feat for a +1 to skills doesn't seem like much.

What do you think is wrong with Quickdraw?

Quickdraw is fine if you have nothing better to take. and if you activate a boost, you can cleave almost immediately afterwards, faster than a normal attack can be performed.

Ya, Haste boost, dmg boost then great cleave then Imp sunder is a pretty fluid attack chain, while holding down the attack button.

Good to know.  I think I'll ditch OTWF for Cleave, pick up Great Cleave for my lvl 21 feat, level to 23 and hold there, primed to take 24 when Overwhelming Critical is working and it actually makes sense to level up from 23.  Thanks!

Another idea would be to drop quickdraw for the second cleave, take overwhelming at 21, then take great strength at 24 to even out the stat boost you get at the same level.

I just wanted to come back and say thanks for the advice to pick up Cleave/Great Cleave.  They have been fantastic on my TWF build.  The animation hardly disrupts my normal attack sequence at all, and it basically feels like an extra attack.  It's also great for short-circuiting the delay after a weapon-swap, boost activation, or a stun.  Good stuff.

It's really fun in Fury with an adrenaline boost right before you use it.

Does the adrenaline hit all the targets in front of you when you cleave?

Yes, that is why fighters and barbs think it is the bees knees.
