Picked up our copy last night!  Didn't get to play much because Big Daddy got home late and I had to pinky swear that I wouldn't play without him!  It seems a lot harder than the first one.  We only did 3 missions, but I died a bazillion times.  It may be that I'm just not used to it and need to get my Borderlands skillz back in check.

I made a gunzerker and Big Daddy made a soldier.  Is anyone else playing?  Thoughts so far?

Yeah, I'm not an FPS kinda gal, but I really enjoyed the first one.  Big Daddy and I just played through it again a couple months ago to get ready for this one.  I am a skag killing machine!

Not a FPS gamer myself, but this looks like a great game.  How is the story mode?  I dont play xbox on line much (my preferred method for non MMO games, dont like all my eggs in one bag), so the story mode, and maybe some multiplayer with a friend, would have to be the selling point for me.

I've never played online, so I only play story mode and I really like it.  The quests and dialogue are funny and engaging and really entertaining all the way through.

It's diablo with guns, on an desolate alien planet with a post-apocalyptic vibe... with dune buggies... that have rocket launchers.  If that's not enough to get you interested just leave now.

I've been playing this damned game almost non-stop since Tuesday at midnight U.S. Central time - I loved BL1, and BL2 so far hasn't disappointed. If you like a sick, twisted sense of humor (and I'm pretty sure everyone who comes to the Vault and stays past their first 3 posts does) I highly recommend getting it Smiley

I'm on PC, and they even have PC-specific settings! I can change the field of view without having to resort to some 3rd-party program. Unlike another recent FPS which shall remain nameless (*coughMW3cough*)

I got it on release day and play it every free moment. I love it. I didn't think I'd like the change to the Siren class, but I learned how to make the best uses of phaselock really fast and can solo stuff much much easier this time around. =D

(I have it for the 360.)

I'm diggin the gunzerker.  Pretty dang tough and never needs ammo.  Gonna try out the soldier clone soonish though and see how it compares to Roland.
