Aren't they supposedly fixing UMD lag at some point? Only checking UMD at the beginning of quests and after shrining, or something?
Keep holding your breath.

Two feats is huge though, my 12/6/2 stayed with the 2 monk for the evasion splash and almost always wears armor. Builds like this try to fit 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag and I just couldn't do it with 2 less feats.
OC and it's pre's ended up costing me improved sunder and a choice between quick draw, ic ranged and hamstring. I really wish they had changed it from requiring cleave/great cleave and weapon focus to Cleave and great cleave or weapon focus.
Does anyone have a way to raise prr? That's what I'd like to do but I haven't really played around and looked through the ED's enough.

drop quick draw, start using the cleaves to get in an attack during that dead period instead.

Weapon Focus isn't needed for Overwhelming Critical.

I know, I wish they had not removed it, just changed it to be a choose one of: Great Cleave, Weapon Focus xxx

What's wrong with Kensei 3? If you're going rogue instead of monk for evasion and UMD, and not TWF, why not 18 Fighter levels and 2 Rogue levels with Kensei 3?

Instead of fucking around with 2 Rogue for Heal scrolls, why not just go the Silver Flame route? Scroll healing sucks donkey balls.
If you're going to be Kensei, then grow some balls and go for the capstone. Be a god damned whirlwind in heavy plate. Helf 20 Fighter with Rogue Dilettante for 3d6 SA. If you're going Legendary Dreadnought, then spend a feat on Dwarven Axe for an awesome 19-20/x6 profile.
Twists:
Tier 4 - Sense Weakness. Can't get much better than this for TWF.
Tier 1 - Primal Scream.

tbh i prefer to have both, SF pots during fights where moving out to scroll yourself would just be stupid if not deadly and have the UMD to scroll not just hjeal but gh, 30 resists (tho pots seem to drop alot more since u16), ts, raises, restoration and very important TELEPORT since walking around sucks donkey balls

Still deciding and reading up in this thread. I realized that I only had 2 pally past lives on licoricewhip. So I'm currently in the third as an 11pally/9 monk healing amp bastard monky thing to knock that out.
I'll update with my macinations when closing in on cap with him. Not staying 20 for more than a few seconds.

You are one of those rare few that get 0 lag when sinking a SF pot right?

See . . . with light armor you really need Planar focus to pick up the slack. With a Khopesh user that sucks as no Khopesh work with Planar focus. I guess a Sheltering item is okay, but I'd rather have the DR10, incorporeal, and 3% dodge from the Cloak of night.
My Tempests actually get pretty good PRR as they can use planar focus since they aren't tied to a weapon-type.
PRR
5 TWD
10 Tempest III
13 Armor
15 Planar Focus
43 PRR = 22.80833 % Mitigation
More than pre-U14 shield mastery and it's absolutely noticeable. Throw in incorporeal, dodge, and displacement clickies and it really helps.
