I know that I am going to regret this, but:

I want to get back into the game but cannot decide what build I want to level. So I am asking the vault for advice.

Any thoughts?

Monk is super easy to level and fairly cheap to work with.
  
Nilazgrc: For all those familiar with loreseekers/sentinels.... Dont run with Stainer.... Guy is a tool. Black list his toons.
kmack can drive the tractor.

It does not matter to me. I'd play anything.

32pt build Wisdom based half orc favored soul

Take a barbarian level at one for sprint boost / melee proficiency
then take your 19fvs levels

Stats
Strength           17
Dexterity           8
Constitution       12
Intelligence        9
Wisdom             17 +levels
Charisma           10

Feats

power attack
toughness
maximise
evocation focus
quicken
heighten
improved crit slashing
necromancy focus
empower

during low levels, use a 2hander, with max power attack / orc 2hander damage enhancements.

once you get to GH, sprint boost and blade barrier the crap out of everything.

Try get an epic antique great axe, and purple dragon knight set once you're at cap.

Warforged 20 Sorcerer.  Awesome self healing with Reconstruct, more mana as a first life toon and it's the absolutely easiest race/class to level.  The -2 CHA doesn't matter.  All MOTU mobs are going to save against your spells anyway, even with max DCs/past lives.  Draconic Incarnation epic destiny is icing on the cake.

Fire for leveling and Ice/Lightning/Acid for cap, or what would you suggest?

Bam, same exact build that ahs worked for years.  Amazing huh? That took a lot of thought.  Wow, real mental drainage there.

Did I give further instructions? No.  That would mean, it is safe to assume that you use ice forever and onward.

Thinking is hard.  Next time you get a feat, choose Passive Thought Process.  The only requirement is a 7 int.  You can do it!
