So recently, had a guy drop the guild because his mangina got crusty. He was with us for a couple of months and during that time he took advantage of our guild policy on FRDS. Those in the guild who have sets of red or green scale contribute to a community pool of scales. Whenever some one gets a shard or enough favor to make a set, we let them take from the community stash with the understanding that they will now start adding to the pot. This asshole took nine scales and then never put any in. We understand he's not going to give the scales back, we took a loss and learned a lesson. But that doesn't mean we can't take a shit on him to make ourselves feel better.

What I need advice on is how to grief him without getting a perma ban.

I was going to suggest that before I even saw J$ had posted. It's a good one

I prefer to mailbomb with festival twigs.  They're better than actual weapons because they can't be vendored for a profit, and better than thieves tools because they don't stack and therefore clog up both his mailbox and his inventory, requiring about double the time and clicks for him to get rid of them.

As for style, I also like to change the subject line on the mail messages, so instead of "Festival Twig" it reads "Fine Red Dragon Scales," or "Otto's Box," or whatever else you want to taunt him with the prospect of getting.  You know, to get his excitement up when he opens his mailbox and sees messages with attachments claiming to be awesome stuff, but upon opening the messages all they contain are festival twigs.  Or hell, if you want to be thematically appropriate, make the subject lines read "Bastard Sword of Backstabbing".  Or mix and match.  Get creative.
