Might be last convenient time to farm things like tier3 Epic Stalker ring and slot GFL in yellow slot, an option that might work for some toons and won't be available after u17 goes live.

now if only there was a way to farm basemats for the stalker ring on a lvl 25...

have all the EPIC mats i need for tier 2 & 3, just yay doing a non epic run and getting 20 scrolls or some shit is an insult

Vet2 status and a warforged fire savant are the easy button. Zerg to level 12 - should be fast with Tear, VoN and Wiz king. Run the fuck out of the lower tier challenges to fill your ingredient bags. Run them all at least two levels over character level. Farm GH walkups to level 15. Run the  higher challenges, again at least 2 levels over.

Incidentally, I haven't seen that bad a drop rate on the non epic challenges. Even on a 24 I still seem to get 200 goblets or 80-100 scrolls, etc. I realize it would drop another 20%, but it still is tolerable. I don't particularly like the challenges, so I've tried to get efficient so I have to run them less. 

What server are you on?
