Pew Pew WF Arti

So, there it is my lvl 20 WF Arti.
I didnīt spend to much time gearing it, I was just leveling.
Repeating Crossbow DPS is a sad joke, BB is OK but you run out SP, tactical detonation could be better...

Anyway, I just have cheap gear on it, with some toys like parasitic symbiont, shard of xoriat, silver slinger and so...
Capstone is nice, but not mega wow.

So, please, some advice on killing stuff.
Build is typical casting & heavy repeater, dumped strenght.

I was totally helpful.

By doing 3 sorc past lives you'd get +3 to your evo DC which would benefit to your blade barriers and making those annoying evades/reflex saves stop popping over mob's heads.

Also you would get so bored by killing shit as a sorc when you came back to arty you'd be completely happy just to pike in the back and spam weapon/armor buffs on the party while they do your killing for you.

And when you get BB just run it like a fucking FvS/Cleric. Run till it's Red Alert and when you can't run no more than drop a BB and watch all the shit die. Your barriers should be hitting for over 1k anyway.

Fuck, if I didn't run outa SP on a fucking Cleric while BBing shit all the time and keeping assholes alive you ought to have more than enought SP to just kill shit with BB. And you know that the fucking Cleric's BBs suck donkey balls compared to Arti's.

GS Lit II worked well on mine. Lucid Dreams for arm. Decent higher end 18+ heavy repeaters in the loot table.  IMO DPS on an Arty drops off for level 19. Dog isnt much use after vale either.

Frog on all servers, but Cannith is home.

mmmkay...was thinking about tovens hammer, but with a GS Lit II and Lucid dreams would be also ok, I think.

It will take me some milions of years, but well...

You could look at Dubbel's thread for thoughts on gear and play style.

Sorc x3 and Wiz x1 for PLs is a waste IMO.  You'll always be 4 DC behind 18 FvS/17 Clerics due to capping at level 6 spells and all major evocation items are weapons. Plus your choices for +3 Insightful INT are...nothing until U17, thanks to Turbine hating Warforged.  Good luck getting a meaningful DC on Tactical Detonation.  It's a cool spell, but it's garbage on EE content.

My 18 Arty/2 Monk has been sitting at level 20 for more than a year.  I keep 'em around to farm  Cannith challenge base mats.

If you get bored with your heavy repeater Artificer, take a look at the Juggernaut build.

Toven's Hammer
Lit II as mentioned

Lots of lightning procs with both equipped.

paralyzing works long after you'd think it wouldn't. (even mobs fail saves sometimes, apparently) banishing/smiting as appropriate as well as disrupting or hand of the tombs

IPS, of course. You probably have that and all the other regular ranged feats?

3 ranger past lives would help
3 monk PLs looks like too much effort for too little return.

lvl 5 shadowdancer for the evasion

use blade barrier frequently with at least 7/1/1 in the force line and learn to circle-strafe-kite so you're adding repeater damage to their repeated passes through your blade barrier.

Thanks, yes, I will do that. But without the TR. To much of an effort. I just have to out DPS my gimp friends group, I wonīt be playing in the champions league.
Well... will have to run some shrouds...

MA is stupidly easy on EN and every time I ran it (grand total of 5 times) I've seen the hammer drop with most of the folk there forcing someone who might be arti in his next 10th TR to take it so it doesn't rot in the chest.

Thanks a lot for the tip. Never run the quest. In first live you get so fast XP, that a lot of quest are left undone, even with 4 Alts.

The truly annoying part is just getting everyone to the raid entrance.

As far as TRing that can be done super casually and is fun when approached that way. I only have 1 multi-TR toon and I wound-up on my 7th life without really feeling like it was a grind.

The beauty of those 3 arti PLs can't be understated and the 2 completed ranger PLs. no-fail heal scrolls around lvl 15 is nice. Hitting almost every trap box without bothering to equip a disable skill item amuses me, too. (have mechanic I on current life, so that helps, too, of course)
