If running for materials, use the trade in function.
If running for stars, Command Undead and Control Undead are the best bet. Anyone with a little UMD can also use Halt Undead scrolls on the archers which can be a challenge just because they keep shooting the extractors even when you're beating on them Everyone should also have the best repair/reconstruct type of scroll they can use to help rebuild the extractors. Basically when you start, split up and go to each small extractor, killing kobolds and destroying kobold altars as you find them. Leave a self sufficient person at each small, and activate them as you get the parts. You'll have two people to clear the rednames at each of the largest, patrol for more kobolds, curb stomp the giant when he spawns, etc. Keep an eye on the shards total, upgrade extractors ASAP. Unless you have a lot of turret requisitions, don't summon turrets to protect the smalls. Don't upgrade turrets. Make sure you don't upgrade extractors when there isn't enough time for them to pay back the upgrade cost - wiki has a list of those times.
If doing it for fun, go into the forest with a can of gas, matches, a hammer, a rusty hacksaw, and three ring shank nails, find a large tree, and nail your genitals to the tree, one nail for your dick and one for each ball.
