	Release Notes: Update 19 Patch 1 Welcome to the Release Notes for Dungeons & Dragons Online! These release notes were posted on Thursday, August 29th, 2013. News & Notes Enhancements The Alpha Strike enhancement can now be taken. Fixed an issue with the Dragonmark of Finding that raised the level of loot inside of a treasure chest more than the indicated level. Sorry. Beguile no longer functions on bosses or raid bosses, and now applies the correct benefit. Hall of Heroes Corrected the "Buy Now" link to the Hall of Heroes in the Character Selection screen. Iconic Heroes Removed several incorrect hair styles from Shadar-Kai characters. Quests and Adventure Areas Fixed an issue with Guest Passes that prevented them from working. Menace of the Underdark The Lost Thread Fixed an issue where Cormul Haythorne could fail to appear. The Necropolis Accursed Ascension Someone had replaced the Iceball Wand with an Illusionary Iceball Wand. The prankster has been forced to do the Ice Puzzle, and the proper wand has returned. Shadowfell Conspiracy Shadow Over Wheloon Fixed an issue where Edric Crastmere would get stuck in his dialog after chain completion, preventing players from completing the chain. Vault of Night Tharashk Arena Fixed an issue with the end reward list. Raids Heroic and Epic raid completions are now tracked separately for the purposes of calculating special 20th completion end reward lists. Existing progress has been placed into the Heroic and Epic completion columns as appropriate. Fixed an issue that caused special 20th completion end reward lists to display regular end reward lists. NOTE: 20th completion lists now recognize whether you had completed the raid on Heroic or Epic, and return the 20th completion reward list every 20th Heroic or 20th Epic completion. The /quest completions command now tells you how many Heroic and Epic raid completions you have. Other Fixes to address an instance crashing issue that was running amuck.

	Hmm. Interesting update on 20th completions. I imagine we can get greater lootz from 20th Epic Completions as apposed to 20 Heroic. I wonder if raids like ADQ will drop Epic Torc/Ring of Spell Storing/Etc. on epic 20th completions instead of base items. Morel likely that they'll have a chance to drop +5 tomes, instead, I guess. Still, interesting to know...

	Well MajMal told us about VON1 fix being in Patch 1 long before the release notes.

Still, interesting to know... I'd be happy if they started giving you a list of shards to choose from. A completed epic items list would be awesome. I'd actually run those again. As would quite a few people, id guess. Epic items still have value, particularly as leveling gear.

Still, interesting to know... You are very optimistic. This would actually make sense. But it would be a dramatic change, and I can't see this happening with the current update. They just parted heroic/epic because they had problems restoring the old condition.

	Well the right move about the old epic items would be to extend the scroll exchange and add a shard and a seal exchange that covers all the items. At the same time, create new items under the current system, but let old base items drop for while too, so that people can complete what they wanted though the shard/seal/scroll exchange. That way we would empty our bags of seals/shards/scrolls, and we would have a new interest into getting in all those old raids/quests.

	Seriously...profanity not aimed at the person when it's clearly an adult and not another player to boot should never be an issue for a support person. I do support on a daily basis. Some of my customers use profanity...it's computer support after all. The only time we have an issue is when it's aimed at me. They can call their computers whatever they'd like and I'm good with that.

I can see why, in the online gaming industry, they would take a more firm stance on this. As seen in these forums, a good portion of the player base has ITG syndrome to some degree and takes an online computer game way too seriously.

	Who the fuck these "game masters" think they are? Never can help you with anything, then asking "is there something else I can help you with?" Well, you didn't help me in the first place, useless asshole... That's why I never use bug report or contact a GM. It's a waste of time. But this example - wow. In addition to being useless, he thinks he's some kind of authority and his role is to play god and school paying customers. A complete failure in his job.

	Even if completed epic items are on the 20th lists for DQ and VON, it's too little too late. This would have been great when the level cap was 20. The only useful epic items at cap are clickies like RoSS and Dusk Heart, and I wouldn't hold my breath at seeing an eRoSS.

	It still has some worth, IMO. Just gives us a little more incentive to run older epics if we can get completed epic items. Of course, because it makes sense, it will never happen.

	Against the Demon Queen : Heroic: 19 / Epic : 0 Now i need to run a heroic to get my reward due to turbines continued inability, giving up a token in the process. I guess it could'a been worse- a 20th heroic completion of fall or web would be a bit harder to achieve. The completions did count as epics for these. Edit: I stand corrected as per Turk's post.
