Your quality of experience running with Axer depended largely on what class you were playing, and how willing you are to sacrifice your enjoyment for his.
On my wizard, things usually went smoothly (and he was in the habit of sending me /tells to try and recruit me when I was on Elochka). Occasionally I'd be irritated by his requesting I do something mind-numbingly dull, because he wanted the spotlight, but a lot of the time, I could just run the way I liked to on my wiz: throw a few buffs, CC and insta-kill stuff, keep Haste going, light nuking.
On a paladin, however, forget about it! Totally fucking obnoxious. He liked trying to relegate my mana pool to redundant buffs for a whole raid party, insisting that I had no use for my SP, then insisting that I back off on bosses constantly, because I was stealing his aggro (when I wasn't trying to), while insisting he was a better tank with less AC (when that mattered), HP, saves, and threat than I had. After a few runs like that, I just made it a point to steal aggro as often as I could when I was on Ferrumrym or Bruucelee in his runs.
He was certainly a character. I miss his forum presence.
