Alleged new raid, allegedly early next year.

Also, more undead?  Fucking great.

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

U20 has 2 dungeons and we get a raid next year. And we thought 10 quests from an expansion was bad...

I'm going to be optimistic and think that along with those two quests we get code that doesn't break with every goddamned update, patch and hotfix.  And that they will fix all the half started shit and the things people have been complaining about for forever, ladders and lag anyone?

So first the loot tables are flooded with ghostbane weapons.  Then they leak that the new raid is full of the undead.  I'm going to need a lot more tinfoil for this.

When they say "multiple bosses", it better be actual bosses with named loot, and not the pseudo named like CitW optionals.

The citw optionals give you chests with named loot... better than the dragons in FOT.

The dragons in FoT are not bosses; they're trash mobs.

Um you know by "2 quests in progress" they might mean they have started working on two quests and will have more....

Just trying to be optimistic here ;P

or they have finished working on an undisclosed number of quests and still need two to be finished.

There's always hope.

Hello all! Shadowfell Conspiracy is launched, and I want to give you an update on what's coming next.

With Update 20 we have two new dungeons in progress, each with a unique feel. My personal favorite so far is the murder mystery. (These will be free to VIPs.)

Early next year, we have a raid coming! I just saw the update to the Undead Dwarf Fortress Castle set today. Plans are in motion to build this... multiple bosses.

Updating Gianthold to Epic was a huge success earlier this year (from community reaction and playtime). We're looking at more spaces we can take to Epic next year, but that comes after committed things like the raid I just mentioned.

In the short term, we're going to get you more details about Warpriest and our plans for Reincarnation. Coming soon!

Thank you for playing, and enjoy Wheloon and the Stormhorns.

So by omission, the raid won't be free to VIPs.
U20 is going to be another half-assed, piss-poor, laughable-amount-of-content like U18, for Yet Another Expansion like U19.

Personally couldn't give a toss for more raids right now.

Not even upset by the news that next update will only have a couple of quests.

Fix broken stuff. Focus on quality of life stuff we've been promised. Give me a proper character sheet with all the missing stuff and give me an option to spend TP on extra bank space before you introduce Epic TR.

If next 2 updates are just fixes, system improvement and mechanic fixes then that's not a bad thing.

Sure it's a lousy period to endure with lack of content, but so what. In the longer term, fixing the stuff they've left unfinished is more important than racing onto new shiny shit.

i have seen some of the content of late. i'm not sure how adding half a turd is worse than adding 2 buckets of feces. i do need to ask though, if it has 2 whole quests, how many systems have been redone to accommodate it? my guess is 5.
also i call another no confirmation shard sucker interface as well, to make up for the lack of pack sales on the 2 quest pack.

But if they really manage to get the epic TR finished for U20 und the new xp curve for heroic levels and iconic TRs then we still get much content. Even if we only get two new quests. Maybe this also includes reworked heroic PL feats? Think 1-2 years ago someone said they would work on that.

Think DDO needs several updates now anyways before there is a 'valid' endgame again. Yeah I belong to the players who like to run raids and not just for fun also for some loot. ^^

Undead Dwarf Fortress Castle sounds pretty cool actually.

I am worried about the implication that the raid won't be free to VIPS.  Does that mean another expansion ?

Getting to level 28 just sucks with the lack of really high-end content that pays decent XP (new stuff's XP sucks).  Only people who don't have an issue with it are one-toon-wonders.

Epic TR's benefits need to be insanely good to consider it.

It sounds redundant to me. Unless they mean Undead [Dwarf Fortress] Castle instead of [Undead Dwarf] [Fortress Castle].

ROFL you watch they will "learn" from this expansion and moving forward the annual expansions will basically be a RAID with 4-8 flagging / supporting quests.

That would be so Turbine eh?

I expect Epic Vale to be the next big thing from them, at least before another expansion.  I do think this is the last expansion we'll see without a raid.
