Anyone got any awesome splits?  I'm guessing 12 wiz/6 monk/2 ranger or 16 wiz/2 monk/2 ranger warforged will be popular options.  Any remaining juggernauts will be switching over as well.

Sadly, the PrE seems to do absolutely nothing for actual casters.  Force enhancements would've been nice, but they're too expensive.

13 wiz 4 monk 3 rogue? or swap the monk and rogue....

stick build with up to seventh level spells, fleshy in wraith form using a sireth for awesome sticking, also all them cleaves Tongue

ofc you could drop to 12 wizard, or instead bump up to 15 wiz to get ottos irresitable and maybe power word stun and then goo 15 wiz 3 monk 2 rogue......the 15 wiz would prob have less damage but more survivability through no fail cc.

If I was going to do a stick build with Eldritch Knight, I'd probably just Tier V Henshin Mystic on 11 Wizard/6 Monk/3 Rogue build. Perma-Tensor's is nice, but I'd rather have 13-20 x3 Sireth.

Core:

- Eldritch Strike (Sorc lv1):

Melee Cleave Attack (10 SP, CD 15 secs): Sheathe your weapon in eldritch energies, striking foes in front of you for +1W damage. This additional Force damage is affected by your Force Spell Power.

Passive: +0.5 USP per point spent. 1% Doublestrike

- Spellsword: Shock (Sorc lv3):

Toggle: Charge your equipped weapons with magical electricity, causing them to deal an additional 1d6 Elec damage on hit. This damage increases to 2d4 at lv6, 3d4 at lv12 and 4d4 at lvl 18. Up to once every six seconds while a Spellsword toggle is active, an attack you make that hits an enemy will cost you a spell point.

Passive: -5% Arcane Spell failed from armor and shields. +10 Force SP

- Spellsword: Forst

Same as shock just cold damage.

Passive. +1% doublestrike, 10 Force SP

- Spellsowrd: Fire

Fire damage.

Passive: -5% Arcane Spell failed from armor and shields. +10 Force SP

- Spellsword: Acid

Passive. +1% doublestrike, 10 Force SP

- Eldritch Blade (Capstone):

Your Eldritch Strike now grants you a Power Charge. When you have 10 Power charges, they are removed and you gain Eldritch Power (+10% melee damage, +25 Spell power).

Passive: +2 Cha, +10 Force SP

Tier 1:

- Improved Mage Armor, 1 AP each: Mage Armor as SLA. In addition, you gain 3/6/10% AC
- Toughness, 1 AP each: 5/10/15 HP.
- Item Defense, 1 AP each: 25/50/75% chance to negate potential item wear.
- Battlemage: +1/2/3 Concentration, Intimidate, Spellcraft

Tier 2:

Tier 3:

- Elemental Resistance: +2/4/6 Acid, Cold, Elec, Fire, Sonic resistance
- Critical Accuracy: +1 to confirm crits
- +1 STR/DEX/CHA

Tier 4:

- Shield Striking: On hit: 5/10/15% chance to proc a shield bash attack

- Critical damage: +1 damage on crits
- +1 STR/DEX/CHA

Tier 5:

- Tenser's Trasformation: Toggle of the spell.
- Eldritch Shield: Passive: Every 6 seconds while you have a shield, you gain Temporary HP equal to the enhancements of your shield.

So THIS gets tower shields from ENH but Pallys have to splash FTR?

Got it.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

NoNoNoNoNo... you misunderstand.  Paladins now need to splash 2 levels of SORCERER to get Tower Shield Proficency.

Eldritch knight gets proficiency with all shields, except tower. At least that was the actual enhancement on lama.

tbh i was mostly making a build to use eldritch knight up to tier 5 for pure flavour reasons of using EK for kicks and giggles Tongue your build would be better dps, but i would sacrifice one lvl of rogue for 1 lvl of wizzy and go with wraith form.

Wouldn't need wraith form with 6 monk levels, unless you're talking about your proposed level split.

I do hope they revise EK so that Tier V is more compelling. I'm lazy when it comes to refreshing shit like Tenser's, so I'd welcome a nice toggle. Also makes it easier to drop if you need normal cooldowns for healing purposes.

Right, forgot the monk incorp and wraith incorp dont stack....

My original plan was to go fleshling, but yours with 6 monk and WF would prob be a bit better since you would have self healing and incorp 25% without weakness to light dmg.

One could revive the Tukaw (again). As a non-evasion-framework, one could do a Warforged 12 Sorc/6 FVS/2Pal.

This split doesn't have evasion, but I think that the FVS trees complement the Eldritch Knight pretty nicely: greatswords as implements, more Force and Fire spellpower, Divine Might.

That's not opinion, that's science. And science is one cold hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap on.

Mostly.  It's the alternative to War Priest if you aren't using a divine weapon.  12 AP nets you 3% DS and 10 PRR.  Not terrible, but generally better than other options for a split like Bladeforged 9 Monk/8 Fighter/3 Sorc using a Cleaver.  It's about 600 SP with a Wizardry X item which goes a long way with 25 SP Reconstructs.

I think I prefer wiz tbh.
wiz 180sp +145(mental toughness) & 1% crit chance
vs sorc 280sp + 37.5sp (extra 15% from 250 item)

I also like the int synergy with wizard, repair being both a wizard class skill and an int based skill

Yeah, I have no plans on using the cleave on a toon with a limited mana pool.  I had totally forgotten that Mental Toughness scales with epic levels, so yeah, Wiz > Sorc due to Repair.

Exactly...EK is more of a 'better than nothing' tree when you splash wiz/sorc to get SP's on a melee Bladeforged.
