last night before i logged i made sure to get to rank 65 in my tr process ... my rule is AT LEAST one rank a day, and when i logged in today im rank 63? any ideas any one else notice xp loss?

Not a loss in exp but an increase in the amount needed for the mid-range levels.

A little more details - they flattened out the XP curve with the new update. It costs much less on the back end and a bit more on the front end. Total xp required went down quite a bit (3.8 million for 3rd+ lives now instead of 4.3 million) but you were in a spot on the xp curve where it costs a bit more to get to the same rank. It's a net gain for you but it does set you back a couple ranks in where you are now.

and i wonder if they did lose a level are they now " burdened" because they are using gear that is above their level?

If I recall correctly from Lamannia discussions you can't lose a level. You'd just be a lower rank than you should for the level you have. For instance if you were 13 rank 61/65 and you dropped to rank 59 you would be 13 rank 59/65 instead. That's just my recollection of conversations though - I don't know that first-hand.

You don't lose a level.
You have to earn the "difference" then it will start applying xp towards the next ranks and levels.

I got two toons capped this way... I stopped a Wizard at 3.8 million and waited for the update.  and I had a rogue stuck at 18 for about 2 years (2nd life), that is now capped and can now be TR'ed into something not a rogue.

This was my plan. I parked my main at 3.8mill and change last night.
  
A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

Oh.  Yeah, I was horribly confused there.  Thank you sincerely for setting me straight.  Next time I see someone say "lvl," I will understand that they mean "rank."  Cause the two words are very similar, and easily interchangeable.

Something changed in the XP, my Guilty of Burden Character was a 7.2 toon before the update - nothing banked- , now it say I have enough XP to level to 8 - and no idea how deep in 8 I am -

Anyone else have this happen:

Was sitting at level 19 with ~4mil exp. After the update, leveled up to 20. Talked with the Fatespinner to check destiny. Level 3 Shiradi. I can drag Wildshot and Healing Spring to the hot bar but they remain greyed out and not usable.

I've not tried resetting or changing to a different destiny and back. Just curious is anyone else is seeing this.

I had that happen pre-update.. try just selecting a different destiny then going back to shiradi, and drag the shit to where you want it. Should work then.
