That's some mighty big fanboi sac that you're stepping up with.  Let me guess... are you Turdh on the live forums?

There, there... it will be okay.  I've modified the poll for you.  And since you're obviously new here, you can use the donut option if nothing else fits.

Got nothing to do with liking the music or not.  Your poll is asinine.  If you could read my post you would understand this.

Since I have a 2400 post count and a join date from 2010, I'm obvioiusly not new here.

Since I have posted my DDO forums name before here, I am obviously not Turdh.

You are 0-3 so far.  Not the sharpest tool in the shed, eh?

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

Once you meat your personal goal you might want to give that some consideration.

Good grief Meat, you're hopeless. You would label the simple act of taking a shit as someone obeying the divine law of nature to leave a proof of existence.

Wait, the DM didn't know about hirelings, Dogs, and certain summons pulling levers?

You know what, I'm with you on these.  There are some terrific sounds.  I just don't understand why the settings go:

0% - off
1-4% - on
5-100% - deaf kid

The engineering here seems derped, at best.

This.  And it's been that way since the game started.

Why in the hell is this shit still happening, almost 7 goddamn years later?

listen dumb fucks....

1. purchase a hand gun
2. load and arm said hand gun
3. point at head and pull trigger
....... oh wait you must have already tried this or you wouldn't be so fucking brain dead as to pick at the faults in the sound effects of a game so riddled with bugs that if you log out while sneaking when you log back in you will have hide and move silently active while maintaining normal movement...

Agreed, not a bad poll. The thread has some entertainment value.

I mean, come on, it has a cameo skirmish of Ash' and Astra's ongoing battle.

For sounds, I leave it on default going to my headset.
And I don't put my headsets on, I leave it laying on the desk.

For PUGs, if I see party members' names light up in green, I may think about putting on the headset. For the most part, I make them type in party chat. There has not been a time where the conversation has been worth the bother, from past experience.

If I'm grouped with people I want to talk to, then I leave the headset on.

I do like the DM in a cry for help.

I gave up on the DDO forums a while back. Sometimes I'm tempted to unload some zingers at the forum idiots but then I figure, why bother, I'd just be wasting my time. They're just crying for attention anyway. Too bad they're all Turbine bothers to listen to, when Turbine listens at all. Unfortunately to actually get anything of value out of the forums you really have to look hard for useful information, which means yes, going through a lot of the noise.

Oh you meant in the game. Well, incidentally, within Over Raided we tend to laugh at the stuff the Orien idiots will accuse OR of doing. There's obviously the Desolator variety and the must-have-exploited variety (no joke: recently, one of our members was reported for exploiting for soloing one of the necro quests -- I think it was shadow knight but I'm not sure -- because there's no way you can solo pull multiple levers at the same time! which we found out because a GM contacted our guildie about it due to the report). But there's also stuff like OR conspiring to make sure other guilds fail raids, trying to break up other guilds or leech their members, or corner the market on some item, etc. Whenever I hear the latest story I always think of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OExykL5QnXY

They're pretty funny sometimes, but most of the time it's just kind of sad realizing the depths to which people will go to blame others for their gaming situation, especially the guild leaders who are the ones who can set the guild's atmosphere in the first place, and I frequently wonder why their members put up with it (and accept their own gaming situation). So I guess sometimes I'll listen for the humor value, but then, as they say, weep for humanity.

You guys don't do any of that stuff?  Welldamn.  I guess that makes you all pretty cool folks, then.  Smiley

Desolator.  Where did that guy go?  I wish he would come back.  If only to give Stoddard some company, and to fail Shroud in part 1.   Grin Cheesy Grin

There was that one update where they jacked everything around really bad.  Sometime around the physics update, I think.  You could balance the stuff down to like 30-40%, and then the next time logging in after the update, and there's a nationwide run on ERs everywhere for bleeding ears.
