It didnt used to be this way. After the player base dropped below sustainable levels even development now revolves around marketing.

About time they did more for VIPs.  XP bonus didn't come soon enough.   And for those that want to get a free heart just pay for 1 month VIP!  I am sure that is all Turbine is trying to do to get more money!

I think it is a good deal, if you play enthusiastically. In theory I should go for it even though I am a sporadic player, I have enough toons over 20 to make it worthwhile, but that I worry about the bank space is telling. They need to sort that out too, really.

I'm not denying that it's a good deal. It's an awesome deal if you happen to have few epic toons that you want to eTR.

Not that I currently want to eTR anything with the shitty broken eTR mechanics occasionally deleting banks, tomes and unrelated ED XP.

I've had no issue with ETRing. Most of the wipes are caused by etr -> heroic TR before logging out.

Not saying it's all of them, but that seems to be the theme.

The "broke" stuff is overblown, at least from my experience.  I've done 4-5 with no problem and in my guild there have been 20+ done with no one reporting an issue.  I don't know what the factors are, but it seems pretty rare.  I've mostly been doing Primal and Divine ETR's so far.

have to confess, I too know more pple who ETred more times, and havent had any problems.

I personally do have a problem to ETR, but it is cos I do not want to spend money for heart and I am missing CoVs. Used the xp bonus weekend and ended up capped with ca 1500 COVs  Smiley

I actually bought 3 months vip for 25eur. for that i get 1500 tp (i wanted to buy tp anyway), some free exp due to 15% exp vip bonus (helps me while epic tring) and (!) the gold rolls. i got a free 50% pot from 1 roll. once the 3 months r up, ill go back to premium but for me, i might not win anything, but i also dont feel like ill lose anything.. so i guess its worth it

It only takes one time where eTR screws someone that is remembered by all.

I haven't seen an official response or even acknowledgment, but it's looking like a heroic TR following an eTR increases the chance of a problem.
