Ah yes, the ole catapult into the end fight, then solo pull the boss. good times....good times.....

Solo pull? I just stood on the throne and killed him faster than he could be healed.

The lordsmarch content were the last 2 packs I enjoyed.  I miss those days.

oh and pre motu Epic LOB, with all the feedback the devs took with tanking mechanics based around that raid, it was awesome fun.

Pity.

Apparently some people take the time to pull it mid quest..  Personally I do that before and after my gaming sessions.

lol... no i meant when you ride the xbow into the courtyard, you could stone the 2 bell ringers there, invis and only the boss would see/fight you.

ofc, nowdays everyone is so overpowered that you dont need tactics or skills or knowledge or anything to just brute force the game with any build solo.

We've been fighting on the throne fully exposed before all the noob players became overpowered and it was, in fact, a tactic in itself. The idea was to kill him as fast as possible before every other mob becomes relevant and problematic. Kill the boss and get out, the stealth to the boss and bum rush him to death factors made it extra fun and it truly suits the tone of the plot.

Plus to pull it off the efficient way, you still require some shred of attention to stealth it so it's not mindless brute force, regardless of how easy it is I know some people are incapable of stealth.

Edited:
Not that there is anything wrong with your method  Smiley

I tried stealth once, then my bloodlust took over.

For me it's either : main gate, jump, invis run to stairs, get traps, jump on ballista, kill boss, dd.

Without trapping : collect spare parts, jump through back gate, try to get stealth opt, repair ballista, stone 2 alarm dudes.
It can get tricky to dps him down on shitty dps toon, like castery cleric without twists or shit like that.

Heroic easier then epic?(barfs). Go farm impossible demands for 10hours with a tome of learning,5% shrine, and a 20% exp elixer and you'll get from 20-28 extremely easily. Its around 8k exp depending on some variables :p

In a party, elite scaling can be a pain. Others can wait outside until right before talking to Doris to finish.
