So, i saw the new raid.... (btw, thx for posting Sean)

Am I the only one who thinks its kinda.... boring on the long run?

I mean... 6 sets of the same, just more and more complicated puzzle while waves on enemies spawn (2 ppl will be doing puzzle and 10 will /pike)

Mario jumping part of frikkin hard labor.

Riddle maze, that you cannot really fail - you fail, you get teleported at the start of it,

Spiky trapped tunnel, doable by single person in the tunnel and one on switch.

Now. I ASSUME, that these could be done all at once by splitting party (God, I hope so), so its like Abbot. Still thou, all of them seems to be finishable by 1 or 2 ppl. everyone else is there just to loot at the end.

Next is fighting party with a "something special" That one looked nice atually and I liked it. Then again, those EN rednames had a TON of HP. I am afraid I will spend my youth in there trying to kill them on EH or EE.

Then the endfight with the ShadowLich. Now, THAT was nice. Completely unsoloable, hardly duoable and with lts of nice stuff. Like it. But... to get there with bunch of puggers and then kill the dragon with puggers, that will be a pain.

I almost looks like Turbine dont want us to pugg this...

P.S. Also, on EN, for all this hard work, you will only get 18K exp. for and end game raid. I mean... REALLY?

I'm looking forward to running this raid in channels and with returning guildies.

I look forward to seeing the solos of it. Hopefully it'll be as broken as FOT on release.

From what i saw it is impossible to solo. Two mechanics in there are designed in a way, that no matter how good you are, you cannot solo it - since you cannot be at two places at once.


Well... OTOH, with a pet.... one first mechanic can be soloed. the second however... I doubt we sill see tradicional powehouses (Cetus,Shiradi,Monkcher) soloing it, cause they dont have a pet that can survive in there.

With pet, it might be possible, but it will be a LOT of pain.
Will be a pain in two people as well. Three may do it pretty easily on EN.

The sad thing is these days I feel a casual friendly raid on live has a shelf life of a week max... Yes I hate raid timers. I like raiding, i would lead stuff, just hope there is enough keen peeps to uphold that.

also there needs to be a couple casual friendly raids, or at least casual friendly on certain difficulties, while being tougher for PUGging on higher difficulties.

An example would be normal shroud vs elite shroud pre-motu.....I was pretty casual/new before MOTU, and I found normal shroud was quite beatable while pugging, hard being a bit tougher, and elite being quite a test.......but I was a nubsicle then so who knows
