Got tired of doing Monk evasion builds. This isn't meant to be a DPS toon, but more of a support tank. In Heroics the High AC should survive most anything along with the PRR. Epics focus mainly on the use of PRR, Dodge, Blurry and Conceal scrolls. Spell wise and AOE I was thinking of having some absorb items combined with shield deflection to soak up most of that damage that would be avoided with evasion.

PDK for the CHA to weapon dmg and attack and heal AMP. Needs high devotion item so the amelorating strike he can pump out some decent party toppers and have a good pool of SP for twists. FvS spells for added concealment and damage mitigation in EE. the 2 pally is for the increase in saves. Havent tested it in live yet, but should have higher saves than most monk builds.
High intimidate and hate threat should help in holding aggro.
Really want to build it up and see how well it holds up against EE THunderpeak.

Not sure what ED to put it into but would be either FvS or pally ED. Probably pally for the increase stances.

You might need it without evasion.

Proper usage is, /pdkface or "I feel so pdk right now", "this makes me feel pdk".

Bonus points if you roleplay it.

You'd be better off with taking 4 pally levels to get additional AC from your shield or armour btw, since it stacks with the fighter one :3

Thanks for the 411, I'll have to look at that. Didnt know they would stack up, always thought they were stance dependent and only one active at a time.

Enhancement: Sacred Defender (Pal) - Harbored by Light (Rank 3)





If you really want to go down the road of "support tank flavor build" I'd really recommend going this build.

You'll get 25% incorporeality from shroud of wraith, plus since you're considered undead, you're immune to pretty much all CC.

Your endgame hp would be >1k. Think 1100-1300. Depending on gear.

Endgame saves:
Fort: 71
Ref: 67
Will: 67

For ED twists:
Tier 1 unearthly
Tier 1 Endless faith
And if you have enough twist points Tier 4 Energy burst

Now... holding aggro will be a problem, so I say just go shiradi as your main ED. Just spam magic missile/chain missiles/ice lance/scorching ray.

Miss chance: 25% dodge(with 9% dodge item) + 25% incorporeality from wraith form + 50% concealement from Displacement.

PRR: 25 + 50(pally tree) + 14(cheap gh heltering augment) + 10 (large shield) + 10 (shield EK sla) + 15 (planar focus of prowess) + 30(?) (if you twist shield mastery instead of endless ardor) ~154 prr.

Can't really break down AC I always dumped it.  Tongue

It looks alot better without all the skills and irrelevant tomes.

Also looks nicer when you print screen and crop the enhancements.

It looks like a lack of synergies coming together to make a piss weak tank.

Actually, scratch reconstruct sla for arcane barrier, and swap eschew for quicken. Plus, he gets anathema and holding aggro shouldn't be a problem. Depending on a group might be enough even without it.
