rog/mnk/paly - sireth, wraps, or celestia?

Just wondering what your thoughts are WRT weapon choice for the above split, most likely 12rog/6mnk/2paly. I do remember munk at one point saying that wraps DPS beats sireth even for staff builds, but that was some time ago and with all the changes, would that still be true?

I've seen the Zeus, but haven't rolled one. AFAIK 6 paly is for the defender stance? Is it that much better than getting access to Fists of Iron + Shadow Veil?

Also, as per original intent, even with the Zeus split: wouldn't handwraps/dual celestias be better for more sneak damage?

EDIT: my reading fail, you wrote 12 monk instead of 12 rogue. I thought rogue > monk for staff builds?

Math by Tyrsis

Since then there are now better wraps and shortswords, Sireth users however probably wouldn't migrate.

Currently Wraps > other options

Shortswords VS Staves switch depending on your base damage vs sneak attack damage.

On the mother forums people are reporting that qstaffs get glancing blows on cleaves now. I haven't checked on my 12Rog/6Mnk/2Pal build I've been taking through epics to verify since I read it though. That could change things, at least against groups, but likely no change on single target since I tend to only cleave when I have more than 1 or 2 enemies around.

you can still use the TA tree with more monk levels only need 5 levels to get the top tier stuff, though personally I would rather go for more rogue levels for the split.

Munk summed this up nicely.  And he is right, given best case scenario for all 3, my play experience tells me wraps come out a bit ahead on DPS.

Having said that I prefer staff/sireth due to cleave effects.  Just personal preference.

the 6 pally doesnt give much, only the 4 pally is useful for the free turn-undead feat instead of twisting in bane of undeath :3

12mnk/4pal/4rogue seems like a nice splash, 4 rogue for those who cant invest much into int or just dont have the skillz  4 pal for free turn undead, 12 monk for stances

So, with Divine Crusader giving Sireth an 11-20 crit range and +10% Enh bonus to doublestrike, plus some other goodies in that tree, I'm finding I really like it for quests that I'm not blitzing in, better than Fury.

Yes, it does. I confirmed I was critting on the dummy, just in case. With all the stuff this destiny gives I gotta say I'm really enjoying it. If you consecrate that extra 10% party damage is a nice boost too if you take the proper enh. And the capstone is nice, with a 4min cooldown, but lasts for 2.5mins. It's deteriorates over time but it's a nice boost. That's over 100% doublestrike for me when it starts up, but I didn't unlock it yet to see if I actually go above 100.

Consencrate and the 10% damage might be a nice twist for when your in dreadnought, maybe as monkcher as well.
Put on ground do fursyhot.
Unsure if 2 slots are worth the 10% damage

I was talking more for the times when you're not in LD. Critting on half my attacks plus the other goodies puts it over Fury IMO. In LD I don't think it's worth 2 twists since I already gotta twist Bane of Undeath.

You could swap to crusader get charges of div might then swap to smthn else.
I mean it is bit boring to do so every quest, but you dont need the actual twist to get use of dmight.
And 20 or so mights per quests are usualy enough.
The bane damage is okish tho.
