I used to love lord of the rings franchise.
But after what turbine done to lotro, anything lotr-related reminds me how that idiots destroyed fun game.

*yawn*

Sorry... I got over my Middle Earth Related addiction some 20 years ago... When I was saturated of it through PnP. ( MERP and RM ).
I still look at my ( almost... missing Palantir Quest and 2nd Ed GM Screen, but including reprints, and cover variations ) complete collection of MERP books taking dust on the shelves at home with nice memories though.

Yes my avatar is an Hermine eating a Greenland Lemming for brunch.

He's a hero that doesn't want revenge or to rescue anyone or to do any kind of self sacrificing deed. He just wants to die and join his family in the afterlife.... that's the story line? I think I'll pass.

Without a decent LotR storyline it's just a shitty Assassin's Creed with non-humans that are far less interesting. My favorite part of the AC franchise is the blurring of the line between reality and game for instance: the 9 templars you kill in AC1 are actual people that died/disappeared under mysterious circumstances during the crusades.

This game completely lacks anything connecting it to LotR except location and the villains residing in it. Matter of fact it goes on to barbarize it ... wraith power? Give me a fucking break /double pass.

They also go on about 'unique' encounters. As if it's terribly difficult to script in some repeating villains.... /triple pass.
