damn... I'd like to see something like that written for ICE... there might be some really interesting stuff to know.
( like how Tolkien Enterprise/Middle Earth Enterprise [ Aka Saul Zaents ] tried all the tricks to kill ICE two years before the movies came out,n so that they could sell new ( and more restricted ) licenses for games. At least I know that bit, but I know there's more, a lot more )

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

It is fairly natural to assume that the fair price for the pot is the fair value of the resources I needed to make the pot plus the fair value of my labor.

Me too... I'm just missing Palantir Quest and MERP 2nd Combat Screen...
I have all the rest, including reprints, cover changes, re-editions and so on.
( Yes that includes Umbar, Ardor and all the juicy modules )

Don't. LOTRO is a bad clunky WoW clone in middle earth.

I think he meant the PnP games that followed the demise of MERP, and not the online game.

I didn't try it either... Because by that time I was burned out about Middle Earth
( 10 years of GMing/playing at one or more session a week can do that. ) and since I had all the MERP stuff ( and Rolemaster, and Spacemaster, and ... well 90%+ of ICE PnP Books ) why should I have bothered with a new game that was going to be extremly restrictive in what could be done ( the new license from Saul Zaentz ensured that things like Umbar, Ardor, Shadow in the South, Dunlands, Tharbad [ and more ] couldn't happen )
