As I was thinking about the past few exploits, DDO producer musical chairs, and game changes, I remembered the below. Didn't find a good thread with all of it in one location, so I spent some time putting this together. DDO Vault, enjoy with extreme prejudice!

While we're not able to comment on specific/individual action regarding what's become of particular accounts, I can speak in general terms regarding the type of issues we are investigating...
- 14 days is the minimum. Some may end up extending longer (or permanent) based on severity.
- Accounts that return from their break will have a significantly reduced inventory, as items are being removed from the characters with extreme prejudice.

So apart from the "name calling and insults are prohibited," for some context in terms of general procedures on this sort of thing...
- Accounts are audited and scrubbed.
- Buy back of the characters is reviewed before releasing the characters back into the wild.
- Items are deleted from most to least valuable in order to choke the buy back with less valuable items, in the event that for some reason items didn't show up in the buy back review. Because of the quantity of items we purged in total, we also elected to disable the buy back feature just in case there was a purging back log.
- Accounts that go through such a procedure are placed on an item-acquire watch list for the foreseeable future, where we monitor the activity of the account after the proceedure.
- We also continue to monitor for accounts that "brag" about having slipped through the net.
Hope this clarifies things!

Seriously "with Extreme prejudice" could mean the toon that duped wakes up after 14 days buck naked in a bathtub missing a kidney.
Sounds about right.
