This game is the most fun I have had in years of playing a video game. Absolutely amazing.

this looks awesome, what a shame it seems to only be available through Steam. Whatever happened to box sets for things? Grrr.... My connection's too slow for paid for downloads, Very annoying.

Yep, Larian, Paradox, Stardock, CD Projekt and many more are what makes some pc gaming still awesome.
I love the game, and the whole process from Kickstarter to release.

Ive played it through 3 times now.  Gotta say its my favorite game since baldurs gate.

The loot system is a bit dissapointing though, after about level 6 the item drops really get lacklustre.

The dialogue is also quite frustrating in a 2 player game, its really difficult to work out what your partner is saying to npc's.  Id definately recommend making your first playthrough in single player.

Also, 2handed str based summon druid is the shiz, spiders are such beasty tanks.

Im on 4th run right now. First time I went through was single player with all 4 characters. Then a lonewolf sword+board, jahan and another mage. I did another one with a rogue and it was boring, backstab from stealth is beyond deadly. Just jump over behind the enemy, stealth mode, then kill em all. $th one I am playing with my brother and we are doing two lonewolf mages. I forsee no possible issues.

Item drops don't start to get interesting again until past level 18.... even then minorly since there will not be much looting.  It is pretty sad that you will find the best legendary amulet and rings for your characters at level 5, then never change them - for the rest of the game.

Just finished this game.  loved it.  finally found something to give me my Baldur's Gate 2/Throne of Bhaal fix after all these years.

Have to agree with previous poster.  This is top notch, feel good story in the annals of game development.  Kickstarter-funded, passionate devs, product delivered on time in a way that mostly met or exceeded expectations.

Larian deserves props imo.  Looking forward to their next project.

Strong recommend to anyone with DnD roots.

looks like there's going to be an Enhanced Edition coming soon, with changes to the plot, multiplayer mechanics, controller support, and more voice acting.

Best part is people who currently own original sin get the EE free Cheesy

It was a great game I think. I am glad EE is free, now I won't have to buy it. I hope it supports a monk class Wink

Can't be worse than DDO in that regard.

No way they could implement it worse. It saddens me when I look at DDO and can say, NWN did it better, 13 years ago...

Yeah, if only NWO had been NWN with updated graphics and physics  Cry

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

Which is all everbody wanted. Then we got NWO, sad times. MMOs have gone down the drain. Sad times.

Pillars of Eternity is old school fun in the NWN vein.

Your wizard could use some work. When I get home I'll go into detail, it would be far to time consuming to do this at work on my phone.

cool thanks!

My wife ended up doing that Knight and I changed the stats, in my previous post to what she did.  I did some looking around and was going suggest she do a leach/zombie/bloodletting/demon thing but there's been some changes to EE it appears so that's not possible anymore.

Still going to try and do a demon/maxed out fire resist thing for her so she can hit stuff while standing in that and get healed.

There is also a knight shield build that makes you literally the god of the game. What I ended up doing with my caster and knight (both lone wolf) was sending them in different directions to clear a map. It was a bit more entertaining. My knight took 6 or so dmg from the final boss.

Shield spec is insanely op at endgame. Made my wizard jelly. Although she had no issues killing everything, just defense was a bit lax.

I hit the gym after work. Hopefully I kept my build breakdowns. Also, they are a little maxed.
