	I'm a big fan of games like Freelancer and the modded version of Pirates of the Caribean (Bethesda not the movie one). But PotC don't run well on my new computer and I don't want to start over in freelancer again So I'm looking for something new preferebly with space+trade+boarding+fps.. Although the chances of it existing is slim.. I've started playing a bit of STO as it in some ways come close to the fly/fps I loved from PotC but I have no idea what I'm doing and I really just want to board the enemy ships :p Could use some advice on building a captain and ship is anyone is playing still. So besides that.. Anyone know of freelancer like games out there that match most of my list? EDIT: Just realized there might also be mods I haven't tried for Freelancer.

	Elite: Dangerous is planned to be released Q4 this year. They have also released a beta which I haven't tried. I'm waiting for the real thing.

	SWTOR has Starfighter game mode which is somewhat similar to Freelancer gameplay, though it's arena-based akin to World of Tanks/Warplanes. Freeform flying with controls VERY much like Freelancer, with upgrades and stuff, but of course no trading, boarding or single player campaign. I think you can play it on a free account, so try it out. If you're looking for older games, X3: Reunion (and its expansions/sequels/prequels) is just what you want.

Love the lore and I even like the full dialogue, but the combat is slow and clonky and it lacks the infinite universe. I have played it for a while tho.. 	It's one I plan on playing when I get a Oculus Rift, I have read the game works really nice with it. The game is suppose to have various modes where you can play single player or more full on mmo like. About the flight model it is much more roll and pitch than say Star Citizen becuase the yaw is nerfed so you use rolls to "turn" in fights.

	Pretty sure Freespace 2 is open source now. That, Wing Commander or Starlancer. X3 is okay.
