Is that game any good in the rp or mechanic or feeling kinda of way?

The most broken epic PL in the game is the ridiculous AC buff from martial PLs. But when you include all the inherent benefits from reincarnation, the thing is above the roof. The benefit from TR was supposed to be minimal, but now it is game breaking. start a new character and you will feel, you will get raped in heroics.

Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed.

And someone in another thread called ME delusional recently!

Wow.

Have you EVER gone to Law School Feyn? Have you EVER been asked by a United States Senator who is now the Vice President of the United States to write a paper just for him on a particular topic of Constitutional Law for his use as a Senator? Have you ever been asked to help a very notable Harvard PhD turned Constitutional scholar with his very-well received book on Legal Philosophy and Constitutional Revolutions? Have you ever been offered a job as a Deputy Attorney General BEFORE you even graduated Law School?

No? Then STFU you fucking amateur.

I didn't mind NW. Powers and feats were all pretty cool. Environments were pretty sweet. Quests are standard fantasy fare but the voice acting is really good with moments of genuine feels. Plus, you're at the center of the story, whereas in GW2 you're basically a passenger on someone elses story, which fucking sucked.

the intro movie is the biggest fucking let down of all time as far as games go. the people that made that should be hit in the groin with a sledgehammer a few thousand times

To nutshell the comments... No, this is not a good game.  Do not waste any time and certainly no money on it.  The only thing worse than this was Diablowes III; although a tight race for which was a bigger let down.

They called in neverwinter to trick retarted idiotic noobs who think that's continuation of NWN/NWN2, but in reality it don't have anything to do with those games.

4th ED sucks, but it seems to be created for MMO game, but idiots who made nwo didn't used any of this. This looks like they had worked on game, and at the end of developement they received licence, and just changed name and graphics.

The only good thing in game is /airguitar emote.

Eh, they had a lot of good things in this game. Player-made maps, for example. I also liked some of the more unique playstyles that their combat system used - a healer primarily healing by applying debuffs to mobs that heal players that hit it, for example.

It's bad.
Every quest is essentially the same, kill 5 of these, find 5 of these.
Voice acting is ok in some spots, TERRIBLE in others (plague tower? fuck that.)
Every boss npc in the game has the same mechanic, beat them up and they spawn trash, beat them up more, they spawn more.
If you love spam, you'll love the ginormous announcements of who won what from a p2w lockbox taking over your screen every 5 seconds.
There's 0 challenge to this game, which is why it's full of chinese goldfarming bots.. so good luck trying to rp or be social when you start.

Ok, they have one good thing: cloaks, but even then they're kinda shitty.

If you want to play a good perfect world game, play star trek online.  I could not make it past the character creation in never winter.  I felt like I was being shoved in a box, much like 4th edition.  As someone who started playing back in the 1st ed. days, words cannot describe my contempt for 4th edition.

Personally I think it should be converted to a music subforum.  We'd get more miles out of it if it was.

Turbine policy - glitches and poor coding resulting in interference of your game play or enjoyment will be ignored.  Glitches or poor coding on the developers side that at all benefit your game play or enjoyment will result in your character being banned and/or items from your inventory deleted.  Please report all bugs via our bug report...when it works.

This is actually a really great idea. I'm always down for new places to find new music.

On the other hand, whilst it's not great, it's also perfectly playable without feeling limited by the store for £0. I played to cap without spending a penny. I'm glad I didn't of course, it's a shallow game, but the journey was fine. I'd be pissed if I'd subbed for it but for free...

Yeah, this. It's a lot less P2W than DDO despite whiners claiming otherwise, and there are some good ideas there that the next D&D game could learn from. It's not all good, or even mostly good, but there is good there just like DDO. Free huge crafting storage, user made dungeons, a useful web interface, mounts, and good scaling to allow players of different levels to skirmish together are all way better than DDO. I did spend money on it and don't regret it - I don't really play it anymore, but I had fun with it for a while and it was money well spent.
